Stop seeking what others tell you to seek.... Part One
By: Jed McKenna Date: March 27, 2020, 10:15 am
---------------------------------------------------------
That's right. Whatever other 'teachers' describe or tell you to
seek is a disservice to you, and I appologize for those times I
may have done so. You blind yourself to what is... FOR YOU, and
whatever that is, it will be unique to you. No one has ever
described fully what T/R is, much less described fully what a
cat, hamburger or a grain of sand is. They may have tried from
time to time, but that only serves to kind of smudge your
experience of cat, hamburger or grain of sand with someone elses
expectations.
Think about it, are you using an idea of what is to protect
yourself from what is. It's habitual in almost all humans, and I
think it stems from a fear of actually seeing reality. When your
life is based on a total fiction/lie, I couldn't imagine
anything more scary.
This issue is particulary challenging when it come to T/R
because while you might think you now what it is or how it
'should' be, that is more than enough to hide the realization
from your experience. The more serious and eager the student,
the more likely their head is to be filled with preconceptions,
books, movies, teachers, etc. All contributing more to the
hiding of the goal rather than the revealing.
So, if that is true, what is one to do ??? ??? ??? Stop! Let's
look closer at that. I am suggesting that it is true for most
humans and I am proceeding as if it is. Don't follow me!
For a few years I taught at an exceptional 'free' school and
every class, literally every class, started with me writing
'QUESTION AUTHORITY!' on the board. They never fired me as that
was pretty much the premise on which the school had been
founded. It was an absolute gas and I love it.
So, play wtih my suggestion and consider if it could be true, or
truthish, for you. If so, please stay tuned and I will write
more tomorrow. If you reject it, then reject it boldly with
vigor and perhaps never return... I find 'lukewarm' drains my
energy. :P :P :P
Stay tuned... ;) ;) ;) :-*
Much love and stay healthy, Jed.
