I want to test you, he said suspiciously. Although he believed
he was talking to a man, he was contemplative. He wanted to be
clear, so he said Truth Exists. It may be further than further
itself, and more absolute than absolute, conceptually
incorrectly. However, none of these things mattered. He wanted
to know.
why something rather than nothing ?
i will tell you if it "rings" true. otherwise its an arrow in
the dark.

I reckon i have no-one left i would trust enough to answer. So i
would say to bear this in mind.
WHAT is the truth.
if you got that question, its a "why question asking a what
answer"
There could be any form of creation, infinite consciousness,
infinite nothingness, anything to infinity, substance after
substance after substance, worlds after worlds after worlds,
beings after beings after beings, no beings after no beings,
smaller gods in bigger gods as notions, infinite selves,
infinite forms of deaths, infinite experiences, infinite
non-being experiences
there could be absolute forms of nothingness, consciousness,
love.
There was a need WE had, what was it?
I am saying that it is true that no belief is true and that it
is true because it is the how to the why question, but WHY

Not sure I understand all of your post, but a few simple answers
arise, but keep in mind, this is my experience. It certainly may
not be yours. I have no intention to lead you to my experiences,
(there is no 'me', but it's how we talk), my intention is to
point to something. What you experience and see is your own, not
mine. I have some suspicions as to how it will be for you, but,
as you point out, they are just transparent beliefs and of
little consequence.
My answer are pretty simple. As to a reason for all of this
dream, my conclusion is that its entertainment. Nothing more or
less.
Why something rather than nothing? From my perspective I would
turn that around, why nothing instead of something. All that you
percieve as something is just dream material to me. When you
drop your body, this we become very obvious to you. Certainly,
dropping the personality and seeing through it is a big step in
that direction (a little death).
You have asked 'What is the truth', and I will respond. Most of
the time I do my best to write as specifically as I can on this
subject. How words are structured can be very important. Your
question is a little off, in that you are not seeking 'the
truth', you aren't seeking what is 'true' because that is always
variable. You question would be better as, 'What is Truth'.
Sounds like I am being picky, but it's important.
Everything occurs, or appears to occur, has a context. I do
appear to be in a restaurant in this moment and that restaurant
appears to be in a small town, and so on. All of the contexts
can change over time, but there is an infinite context within
which ALL contexts/things/appearances arise. Truth is that
context.
I trust I have assisted you, but there is something you need to
know. You cannnot think your way there. It cannot be grasped
because it is what 'grasps' everything. You can only realize
that it is, which I call T/R.

Yes i resonate with your no belief is true and further than
samadhi state, and that anything is not it. it is the negation
of all things. THATS why the question is so. its the only
context in which whats to grasp HAS importance to what is
grasping it.
I see entertainment
I can imagine it would be the case. i know its a null answer
anyway, when there's nothing there. Still thanks, i happened to
resonate with your answer. Which is what i was hoping for.
I also just had the insight that i'm thinking of it from a
selfish position, its actually the opposite. What would a
totally selfless thing want? THATS EVEN HARDER TO ANSWER

A totally selfless individual would lack the desire for
anything. Desire springs from a personality. Even such things as
a deep and profound desire for a pizza, which I am currently
experiencing, is the result of a sliver of personality lying
within me saying, 'Hey turkey, eat or you might die', and then
there is another facet that says, 'Die? Well, now that would be
interesinting'... then I order the supreme with baconj (always
thin crust). Ahhh... that ever present Angel of Death will have
wait a while.

Yes but that is an idealism, the truth of selflessness lies in
the fact that jed wants to eat a pizza and wants to meet the
black angel later.
ORDER ORDER, GETCHA YA PIZZA 10 DAWLLERRS, EXYTRUAA CWISSSPEEE.
Jed wants a pizza is not a flaw in jed, its an understanding.
The reason why people resonate with you is because they hear for
probably 15+ years that they are eternal, they were never born
etc etc, then you tell them that they will die. its the most
basic, yet simple zen stick.
ANYTHING SELFLESS, is to create anything it is not. which is
everything. it is to create selfishness,
total selfishness = total selflessness = anythingness= I
it would actually be to create a virtual reality with everything
that it is not lol
Negate everything you are not then the I is that which you are
not (I am not that)
Negate nothing you are then the I is that which you are (I am
that)
Jed eating pizza, the nothing you are, which means it must be
negated. Which means that jed must eat pizza LOL. As dobby said
in harry potter Jed mckenna must not go back to hogwarts.
the negation of a negation of a negation is a trasncendence.
It is not , but it is .......no it is really not, but it is.....
no it really is , because it is << god's godlyness as osho put
it.
Thoughts? of course the disclaimer is that these are more word
games. I just want to know what your gut tells you if you
grasped conceptually the koan i made up.
