IQ and being awakened.

After much searching, the answers don’t very spiritual at all.
IQ is basically the main factor on a humans ability to
understand and grasp complex concepts. Everyone’s walking around
thinking there doing things, but SCIENTIFICALLY, our IQ
determines much of our life. The way we’re wired is running the
show. All that bull shit about trying your hardest and if you
“work hard” you can do it, is absolute garbage. You may not even
be able to understand a lot popular literature if you don’t
atleast reach the 110 - 120 range. So who’s trying to become
enlightened ? This is just nature doing what nature does.

Thank you for sharing that.
So, who is trying to become enlightened? Now that's a delightful
question. I have students who have high IQ's... it can get in
their way because from youth they have been told how smart they
are and how well they can figure things out. T/R cannot be
figured out, and a ''person'' never ''gets it'' anyways. The
''person'' has to step aside.
With regards to T/R I would suggest another measure of potential
achievement, that is the ATEP measure, the Ability to Entertain
Paradox. If T/R is anything it is the embracing of all
possibilities, and many possibilities, which were viewed as
impossible and even rediculous prior to T/R, become rather
obviously possible.
Highly intelligent folks usually have a pretty well developed
ability to be reasonable and logical. Although I have know a few
160s who were Bat (fill in the blank) crazy and their
intelligence was in no way their salvation. In fact, it led them
to miserable lives and two suicides.
You raise a good point about nature doing what she does, and if
everyone could perhaps get out of her way, we would find more
T/R. Krishnamurti called enlightenment the ''divine accident''
and that was what I have called it too.
Keep in mind who designed the I.Q. test and what their real
purposes just might have been.
Love ya, Jed.
