Does suffering stops as soon as you realize who you are?

Hi Jed,
A bit confused..
Its been 4 years since I realized who I am. This knowing is
absolute and permanent.
But realizing who you are, does not equal the end of suffering
in the mind body, in my experience.
When tommorow the sun becomes the face of a devil and shouts:
'my name is Jed', my mind will go into conflict.
I will first think, this can't be happening, because i expected
that tommorow the sun should be yellowish and should not be a
devil (or an angel) that shouts 'my name is Jed' .
However I would soon see, that the mind records an error and
with the error some fear kicks in the body. Magic.
Yet, my mind could still resists a bit, in some cases up and
down for an hour (and only becoming less and less) and in some
cases, my throat could still hurt for a day, even after
accepting and seeing what is.
I see it as some old body+mind suffering, programs that are
installed and now being discovered ready to dissolve.
integration at work..
My mind is confused and wonders if the end of suffering is
instant result after TR or is the end of suffering a gradual
process after TR.
In other words, if you are playing your role and 10.000 people
would say you are an asshole, could it still hurt as soon you
are realized?
Thanks

Hi Gordon:
Welcome to the forum and thank you for your post and question.
If you wish to continue with this human dream (not everyone who
it is T/R does) then there must remain a sliver of ''you''. It's
just the way it is. If there is not that sliver left... you will
most likely walk into the ocean, off a cliff or just wander into
the desert or jungle... depending on your geographic location.
The sliver of ego is what lets you keep just a little ''skin''
in the game. I still enjoy people smiling, I like to say hello
to folks, I am very sociable... as long as that sliver remains.
I am not big on seeing people unhappy and if someone calls me a
''jerk'' or whatever, that does go in, I sense it and for a
moment might feel.. ''well... that's not so nice'' but it is
like a passing cloud over the sun. To say it another way, I
don't take it to heart.
Likewise, If someone praises me or says they love me, I don't
believe them. Might feel pleasant for a moment, but just one
more of those passing clouds. I do make every effort I can to
listen to students, but I never believe anything anybody says.
That would be quite silly because no one knows what they are
talking about. Once words issue, they are an innocent or
mischievous deception, nothing more. Some words might sound
pretty and some might sound like a lie, some faces may look
pretty and some not, some people may sound wise and some not...
however, one must come to their own realization that a dream is
always just a dream and everything within it is wondrously
meaningless.
I push and point students to find out for themselves what is
going on in their appearance as a dreamt human character. It may
or may not be similar to mine... but that doesn't matter. One
thing that I found to be certain in my world is that once you
''get'' it, nothing anyone says could make any real difference.
What could possibly be the value of anything that happens in a
dream? What would be the value of changing a dream? Not much.
What would be the value of playing and having fun, doing a
little to assist other dreamt characters, trying to be minimally
cruel and ''thoughtless'' and generally a little better or
nicer... well, in my experiences, those things are little like
the oil in a car, it seems to make it go better.
Once your realize your True nature, there will remain some
habits, some tendencies, some inclinations to be this way or do
that thing... they are quite inconsequently and ... something to
keep you busy in the dream. Remember Nis, who smoked himself to
death, despite being fully realized. I strongly reommend you
just do what you will and let the dream take it's course. When
you expect nothing to be or go a particular way, things seem to
go the way they go pretty smoothly.
So, in conclusion, relax, breathe (write me if you want my full
body breathing tape) and let things be as they appear to be.
Never, ever think or believe that anything is real or important
(that is all made up by mind in concert with Maya)...
Here are some visual-metaphor images of ''Índra's net'' which I
find communicates some sense of the dream, the dreamer and the
dreamt character.

Best wishes always and write me anytime.
Love ya, Jed.
P.S. Remember, if anything at all is of value, it's going to
come down to what you learn, experience, do, accept, forgive,
release, love, blah, blah, blah, but the key is all answers are
within you, not ''out there'' as there is no ''out there, out
there''. It's all you, many levels, many yous, but ALL you. T/R
is not an experience. Experiences will lead up to it, but it
goes way beyond experience... at least, that was my experience.
Words lie... now go find out ''what is'' for yourself and stop
listening to me.
