The Joy of Pretending, a student's report in five brief emails..

Here is a collection of five emails, all sent within a brief
time, from the same student. I think he was a little exited
       about the experience:
I'm finding the amazing joy of pretending. Of being something
I'm not. Of playing. Of dreaming. The joy of appearing as
something rather than nothing, even while being nothing. Nothing
appearing as everything. This is it. Exactly what I want; it
       always was. Perfect.
All the pain and pleasure, all the drama and trauma, it's all
the same joy of pretending. But I must say, I do prefer to be
aware of this rather than forgetting it. Luckily, I'm not
forgetting it. Now I can fully experience any experience safe in
the knowledge that I'm not any of it and I'm all of it. The joy
       of pretending.
It's authentic life. Seeing and living life as what it is
instead is make-believing it is something else. I can live
everything fully at the same time as knowing it is nothing. This
might be what they mean by both asserting and denying the
reality of something is missing it's reality.
Even fear is the joy of pretending.
All of life is the joy of pretending.
