Dear Lynnth:
How would you know that something ever happened? What would it
mean to 'happen'? If ten people see an accident you will have
ten different versions. So you certainly can't trust any of your
senses to tell you something happened.
Infinity is not just a concept, an infinite number of things
have happened an infinite number of time and that means
everything has already happened. If it's already happened, then
it's already happened an infinite number of times, hence never
happened because there is no 'non-infinity' to compare it to.
Don't get you knickers in a knot here because your mind cannot
wrap around this one. It's just too ... infinite.

Rights, powers and privileges.... obligations, written and
silent contracts, social agreements... and you want to talk
about that crap... I wouldn't say much, just ask the audience to
make it up and they might realize how f/u they are. Do it in
categories and see what they get. But first of all they must
apply for the right to submit an opinion by raising their hand
and asking permission... did you just grant a right, power or
privilege. Also start talking about Sharia law, that'll really
screw things up. I trust you see what's going to happen.
