You don't want happiness..... or do you?

Dear Members:
Happiness is a term that refers to an experience. The nature of
ALL experiences is they come and go. Happiness is usually
dependent upon circumstances, you get what you want, or don't
get what you don't want and you are happy.
There is another experience, but it would be more accurately
called a '''state''. While happiness is almost always a release
of tension, there is a state of not having tension that needs
completion or satisfaction, that is the underlying nature of
your True Being. Just being is all the joy/grace or whatever you
want to call it, that really exists. It's covered over by the
expectations imposed by the seeking of happiness. Seeking always
end in less-than-happiness. My suggestion is start paying more
attention to the space between things. We automatically look at
things, we jump from one thing to the next, one thought to the
next... however, we miss the spaces in between and these spaces
actually create the ''things''. Pay more attention to it and
drop seeking happiness. Look right past happiness... and
sadness. There is much more beyond those two.
Love ya, Jed.

It's true.
The only time I'm truly....what?....satisfied?.... in a way that
knows is whole-some (for lack of a better word)....in a way that
knows it is a self-sustaining state...is those moments when I
arrive upon that state of release...silent acceptance...riding
on the stream of perception as it emerges and disappears.
Question is....if that is the only time I experience a true
sense of bottomless joy/grace....then why in the h3ll can't I
just stay put in it? I can see why some mystical traditions
anthropomorphize the seemingly insurmountable forces which
perennially resist this state. It's a mistake (another
conversation, I'm sure...I'll wait for the rant ;) )..but I can
see why they do it.

Why is a foolish question, never ever ask it again in your life.
There are only two honest answers, ''because'' and ''It seemed
like a good idea at the time.'' A thought arises from the void,
an action occurs and instantly the mind says, ''hey that was my
idea''... and be buy that b.s. all the time.
If you want to grow up and inquire in a method that works
better, only ask how. That is the word that just might open up
opportunities for you and others to learn. How information
implies the possibility of change, why smacks of you did it and
are wrong for some reason. Remember, no one is guilty of
anything, period.
So how is that you leave the state of satisfaction? What is
going on in you, what thoughts occur to bring you out, or who
comes into your presence, or what event occurs? Can you see how
useless ''why'' is. I completely banded it from my encyclopedic
list of inquiries, a total of three now.
Love ya, Jed.

"Never ask why! Ask how!"
I am grateful for those rigorous comments.
Why are experiences (seemingly) taking place? Really stupid
question.
If I get it right, it's all about how would it be if this would
be true. True nature can't resist to dream all the endless
experiences.
I have always been touched by a song called "How does it feel?".
Is it a trap? Does true nature (unwillingly) "want" to feel?
Entertainment is the key. Not possible without feelings but
feelings can only be dreamed.
Correct me if I am wrong.
