The problem with your mind.
By: Jed McKenna Date: July 17, 2019, 11:57 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Your mind is stunningly remarkable thing (running out of
superlatives) ... and it's not where you think it is.... but
that's another topic. What's the problem with your mind? It's
got to be good, it's kept you out of trouble...hasn't it.
Perhaps got you into trouble as well... happens sometimes.
The challenge is your mind thinks it knows something, something
original, something special... not so. It only knows what it has
been programmed to know. Others do the programming up until your
AI takes over (at about 7 years old) and your algorithms go into
self programming mode. This would indicate that the mind is
learning after a fashion, but despite that, it never ''knows''
anything. To know something is to be it, and your mind only
''knows'' it's own programming, which is all fiction. It may be
functional fiction and of some use, but that is not true
''knowing''.
Do you know what day this is, really? You think you know but you
only ''think'' you know. If you use evidence from a smart phone,
a friend or a calendar, you are just relying on hearsay and
that's not knowing. Anything that you think you know is just a
''think'' and a think doesn't know anything. Now, watch how your
mind resists my assertions. It's been programmed that way in
order to maintain a facade of supremacy. Also false.
If you wish to argue with me, please do, just remember, it's
because a program said ''argue with this guy, he doesn't know
what he is talking about''.
And the location of your mind... pretty much everywhere except
where you think it is. Oh, the receptors might appear to be in
your head, but the mind is not.
Love ya, Jed.

Ok if I argue its because a program said to, if you argue is it
any different?

Excellent question, and there is a difference. You think you are
running a program, and I know I am running a program. Thinking
and knowing, two very different things. Another example, one
might think, reason and conclude that this is a dream, or a very
dreamlike experience. Someone who really knows it at a gut level
doesn't take anything seriously. T/R is the realization that
there is something that dreams and everything else, appear
within.
Cheers.

So if I run an inquiry like "what's true" its more like a
program is running making me think I am looking for something
when in fact there's no search, just a thought saying there is a
search, pretending there is?

Good work, however you are still thinking about it, a real
inquiry has no thinking involved, not answer anticipated or
sought, it's just like one big question mark sitting on the
horizon for an eternity, or until late Tuesday.

What do I know?
How can I (as a person) know anything if I do not (really)
exist?
What else can be known than truth? And who can know this?
Nowadays many people are talking about this stuff as if they
just studied it intellectually and now it's clear for them (oh,
I take a look at "myself"). Genius programming, deep trap, but
as you point out it has to reach a gut level. That's the journey
that can't be studied without practice (in this infinite dream
play).
Thx.
