I'm just too dumb to get what you're on about. The difference
you're talking about, that is. I don't get how one experience as
such is different from another one... Please explain.
I think it takes the knowledge of the Absolute, that personal
knowledge to get anywhere near enough steam for lift off
I'm sorry but here my b.s. detector goes off. Personal knowledge
of the Absolute? I recognize the impossibility of language here
but whose knowledge of what is that? ???
I've never used any uppers, maybe now it's time... maybe then
I'll know. ;D
Feedback more then welcome

The 'you' clearly got schizophrenia (;) ;D :o :-\ :-* ???) Not
one actor pretends the same. The script makes no sense to anyone
hence believes got born so we can forget the script and just
play along. Since we are born with a name attached to our
identity, it shows absolutely no one can tell what the freakin
hell this illusion is all about other than horsecrap. Whenever I
dream whether lucid or not I imagine all the characters I see in
the living dream; friends, family, anyone. Knowing a non-you is
dreaming a 'you' as for anything which is perfectly created by
yourself. If you say stuff is right or wrong, the real referee
is YOU. Why need a referee when even the referee gets
instructions in their ears?
Love you,
Stephan the toothfairy

Dear Jed,
I just had one experience, walking in the woods and for no
reason and without preparation or warning, bam! I was immersed
in and indistinguishable from by unspeakable sparkling beauty
for about half an hour. Lovely, amazing and tender but never
came again and now I can barely recall it. That was 2006 and
about the time I started looking into non duality. Thankfully I
found people who had the wisdom to explain that experiences like
these are just spiritual 'shiny objects' - states. Not that I
know it but it was explained that abiding non duality is not, by
definition, a state: states come and go.
Best. J.

@ SEE
I can only speak from my own H/A experience, it actually matches
up with some others experience, that's how I know I'm not just
nuts. Jed discusses this in Damnedest, it's quite fascinating
and enlightening, it was for me anyway.
If you haven't had a unity consciousness experience, sorry,
nothing I can say that will help you understand, it's like
trying to explain what its like to scuba dive, unless you've
done it you will never know from someone telling you about it. I
am talking about this from an H/A perspective, not a T/R
perspective, hence the need for the "I" to exist. Jed was
speaking about human spirituality from his experience, I was
adding my experience, it will resonate with some, like
Cannonball, not with others.

Thank you all for sharing your thoughts and putting the effort
into expressing what is pretty difficult to express, if not
impossible.
Love ya, Jed.

Fascinating. How do you know an experience matches up other's
experience?
Anyway, I haven't ask about the contents of that particular
experience... The point is how you differenciate one experience
from another, other then by valuing and prioritizing them.
That's what I'm interested in.
@jed
yeh yeh, I'll shut up now. Enfant terrible.

"Fascinating. How do you know an experience matches up other's

Because I dreamed it did. period.
"The point is how you differenciate one experience from another,

When I take a bite of a steak and then take a bite of a
McDonalds hamburger, I experience them differently and
consequently prioritize them based on my "dream" of them. Same
way I experience your ego versus another members, each has a
certain "flavor"...
