Thats pretty damn succinct Gromer.
Jed gained H/A by doing SA, I gained it by "eating my s h I t
sandwich" dissecting every area of my life where I was not
taking 100% responsibility for my experience of it. Anyplace in
my life where I was blaming someone or something for where and
who I was. to become H/A I had to swallow it and take that
responsibility on for myself. For example, "I can't have the
career I want because my dad said it wasn't practical and I
can't make a living at it." This one I personally lived out but
once I quit blaming my father and took responsibility for where
my career choices had led, I immediately had what I needed to
make the career I wanted just appear. Not overnight but I took
the power I had given away by blaming and started using it to
create the life I wanted. This is being an adult.
This is a big elephant to swallow all at once but doing SA on
these areas where you've given your power away by not taking
responsibility and blaming ANYTHING other than yourself for your
predicament is the way to H/A. Choosing to be a victim to
anything (don't kid yourself, it's a choice) is the surest way
to suffering and misery.

Dear Jed,
In other words....you don't want to sit and watch
the bunga bunga tree grow.
You want to smoke/eat it's leaves.
Got that. Thanks! ;D

Thank you Jed for all you do. Everything what you said applied
to me. I was almost crying reading it and sometimes laughing
cause you are funny as hell too.
This is really going to help me examine myself and see what I
need to do to become H/A before anything else.
Much love,
kozi

It was interesting how I woke up several times last night. My
ego beaming me with thoughts of holy S**t now what? For a sec it
got me by the balls until I realized that I was identifying with
them. Eventually, with concentrated focus I was able to just BE,
I practiced the exercise Jed suggested, but with my thoughts. I
was perceiving them as the little me I was attached to them, and
when there was no me they would stop. Sometimes it was easier
other times more difficult.
Jed,
when I am practicing the exercise you suggested and the "little
me" comes back into the picture do you have any suggestions to
get back to perceiving without the little me? I resorted to what
I have done in the past which is focusing on my breath, or even
do the mantra I learned at TM. I gave myself a break since I
understood that there was a process I had to go through to let
go of the dissolving of my job. I guess sometimes I am hard on
myself, I know you mentioned 10 years of this process. Sometimes
I end up fine for a while, then something catches me, then I get
mad at myself for reacting. Sometimes I am an adult, I guess I
am a young adult? Then the littlest thing gets my attention.
Well the job is not little. I want to manifest wealth again so I
don't have to work for a living. But for now I am focusing on
this process so these events are a good way to practice!

"Regarding the calamity thing, what is a calamity? I could go
on, but I would ask members to contemplate. I'm not seeking the
surface experience, (lost love, job, etc.) but what is the
inherent nature of every calamity. Let me know your thoughts".
It destroys everything which you held dear, that's a cliché but
that's what it does, that's it's function, it's inherent nature.
It's a massive attack on your beliefs, mind structure and
sanity.
It depends on the calamity, no it doesn't - an internet
breakdown might get you there as well, or a lack of coffee. It
hurts like hell, like a ripping off of the sticking plaster to
see what kind of infection is going on underneath.
It's an invitation as well, an opening, cleaning up, and so on
but that was not your question because that comes after the
calamity - if you're interested.

Dear Mork:
I deleted you post. You probably missed on of the rules, no pic,
links, youtubes, etc.
No big deal, but I don't want anything here except you and most
of those other things end up being a distraction.
Love ya, Jed.

Dear Mork:
I believe you posted a small diagram.
Like I said, it's not a big deal, but it is so easy for people
to get off on a tangent. In the previous forum, which was a
completely unmoderated experiment, people where putting up
poetry, pets, tubes, and just a ton of crap. Then they would
argue with each other about the meaning of their 'stuff'.
They would think they had discovered something but all they had
found was another distraction from the task at hand. This forum
is completely different and in my hallucination, offering much
more meat to members. I know that I enjoy it much more as well.
Love ya, Jed.
