       F***ing A!
I am the only one that feels Jed wrote that just for me? LOL - I
just found today I lost my job, and I will be honest I was
feeling very victimized, oh yeah! So victimized and I decided to
come here and I saw your new posts so I decided to read to them
first before I even search for the posts I wrote over the
weekend. What a wake up call! F*ck I am fed up! How childish of
me to feel victimized because I didn't get what I wanted! I am
fed up of still allowing myself to reach like that to certain
       life circumstances. Grow up!
You asked a question that stuck to me. If you said that being
T/R I would be miserable too, I say yes to it, you know why? I
have been miserable already. But I have been miserable by my own
creation. Thank you for the reminder to let go, be unattached,
stop complaining and feeling victimized. I am going to be an
adult because I want this more than anything else.

       Dear Claudia:
I have included your quote below as I think it is worth
       repeating....
Regarding the calamity thing, what is a calamity? I could go on,
but I would ask members to contemplate. I'm not seeking the
surface experience, (lost love, job, etc.) but what is the
inherent nature of every calamity. Let me know your thoughts.
I get that a number of you are really chewing on this and that's
what I like. Be careful of the minds propensity to seek
acceptance. Only report what is your experience, not what you
want others to hear or think of you. Don't give a s h i t about
       what others think of you, especially ME! I don't give a s h i t
what you think of me... so there... we're now on equal ground
       and I LOVE IT!
       Love ya, Jed.

A calamity is considered a calamity only when I suffer from it.
It could be a death or life issue yet if I can smile at it then
it won't be a calamity. So my conclusion is enlightenment can
never make me more miserable since miserable is a concept that
       is self-victimizing.

       Dear S:
What has to happen in order for you to suffer? What is common to
       all your suffering?

I lost a my love and my job, home, and love all at the same
time. I felt like my whole life was ripped from me.
Initially there was a strong unconscious attachment to safety,
       security, and familiarity.
Followed by a massive shock due to change and fear of the
unknown. Ultimately was left feeling naked and vulnerable, fully
understanding I had absolutely no control.

       Dear Jed,
When there is 'I', I suffer.
Smiling, not suffering as of this moment of typing

and 'I' is what... a attachment to an illusion. No wonder it
       causes suffering.
       Love ya, Jed.
Remember.. pain may occur at the dentist, suffering is worrying
       about going to him.
       Love ya, Jed.

Re: calamity, what is a calamity?
       calamity (kəˈlæmɪtɪ)
       n, pl -ties
       1. a disaster or misfortune, esp one causing extreme havoc,
       distress, or misery
       2. a state or feeling of deep distress or misery
       ??? Who writes those dictionaries?
On the surface it's all about distressful, negative effects on
body/mind. But that can only happen when I'm holding onto
something dearly and resist whatever happens. The amount of
resistance defines the depth of calamity, IMHO, not the size of
       disaster.
But what if a disaster (whatever that might might be) is
followed by imediate surrender? Then calamity is a non-event
with no effects. Like a memory image that never happend anyway.
So maybe one speaks of calamity when still affected by it? In a
rear view it's just a 'poofffff! there it goes'...

Could someone please post a one or two sentence definition of
       each of T/R and H/A?
I know what the abbreviation means but I'd like definitions. I
have read the books but even then I wasn't that clear.
       Thank you in advance
