Iterating

Hi Jed,
It struck me that even the self-thought is just a concept. The
thought doesn’t exist, nor does the thought that the
thought exist (and needs to be dropped). Ad infinitum. Now what?
Keep iterating till grace hits?
Merry Christmas
Thinkle

Everything is just a concept, except that infinite, unknowable,
mysterious, giant, deep friend banana drizzled with palm sugar
and ice creme... oops... :P :P :P got a little carried away.
Keep thinkleing... and best wishes for the holiday season.
Love ya, Jed.

I guess I do. Not really, but as a nice game. Since nothing is
important any longer, there isn't much excitement either, except
for some mental challenges.
Is that also why you run this forum?
Can't get myself to do anything, as it will appear futile and
silly before I even get to do it. At the same time sitting still
does not feel right either. Any advice on how to deal with that
dilemma?

''I'' have no idea how ''I'' run this forum. Seems ''Í'' put
out some stuff, ''others'' put up some stuff and, totally by
accident, sometimes it points and assist folks. Other times it
can seem like a waste, but it never really is.
Advice, find who has this dilemma. It can only occur to an ego,
deers don't have them, ants don't have them... no I no dilemma.
Just being.
Love ya, Jed.

Wrote a lengthy reply. Contemplated on it. Changed it.
Contemplated again. And again. Eventually deleted the whole
piece. Went about my day and suddenly resolved some dishonesty
that for days had been blocking my way to where the I-thought
was coming from. Wow! Can't even remember deciding I was going
to do that - it just happened (like a forum happens). :)
Just wanted to share this as a reminder to myself and perhaps
one day a fellow traveler on this beautifully exciting road of
despair.
As they say in zen: "thanks for nothing". ;)

It's is almost staggering how things work out when we get out of
the way.

First of all best wishes for the new year, Jed! I value the
answers you have given me so far. Now, back to business.
My newest struggle is an overflow of creativity. It's like
someone turned a tap on. Music, writing, business ideas, game
strategies. And all well received when I propose or share them.
A nice experience, but it also reminded me of something a read a
while ago from a guy who'd distinguish human consciousness
(illusionary physical world), collective consciousness
(illusionary astral world) and full blown awareness (all
encompassing). His writings were a bit incoherent and
repetitive, so I discarded it, but one thing remained was that
he associated creative outbursts with the intermediate step in
the collective consciousness and that it basically was a honey
pot of Maya to trap you with a nice experience.
I've had some dark nights of the soul. Perhaps not 'the' dark
night, but certainly challenging ones. I've not seen the world
disappear yet, though I don't regard it as real anymore. So, how
would you advice me to go about this creativity outburst? Leave
it alone in a tantric kind of way, submerge in it, do inquiry on
it? In case of the latter, how would that look like? 'Is this
real?' seems hard to apply to creative inspiration.
Many thanks :)

If you feel like doing something, then do it. But don't make a
big deal or anything at all. It's all a show. Be patient with
yourself.
Love ya, Jed.
