I get it, but I really don't!

At Uni, Roger studied the effects of light, magnetic forces, in
conjunction with radio waves, and in short, a selection of
electromagnetic spectrums. Well he learnt that light bounces of
objects, those objects often absorb certain wavelengths, but
some get reflected and enter the eye. This is the be end of
what was discussed at Uni, albeit if one so called knows the
intensity of light, before it enters into a sample that one is
trying to ascertain its concentration perhaps, then being able
to tell the intensity of light, for instance is there before it
enters a sample then how much is absorbed, and having equipment
that shows that situation, well one can make known samples,
create a mathematical equation from a range of known samples,
thus deduce the concentration or the amount for an unknown the
one is trying to determine. Also the structural arrangement of
molecules, can be determined by how much magnetic force causes
the protons to resonate, thus the structural arrangement of
organic molecules can be determined. There is also,how much
energy it takes to break a molecule into bits, thus the remnants
indicate a molecule, like a clue that determines, if one can
read such information, as to what the molecule is. IT even gets
more complicated. It all so very convincing, yet on a personal
level, with respect to what is seen, or heard for that matter,
well it didn't take that much to see that once entered, (the
information) a range of neuronal and electrical signals, convert
that information into a visual image, a brain created image, and
its this image that then gets so called projected back to its
source. Uni didn't enter into that little aspect, probably the
most important aspect of all, an aspect that they, and now I,
have learnt about things, from a brain created projection, and
what more, the perception of such imagery. NO Uni wouldn't dare
tread into that. What I did tread into, is very convincing, and
none of it seen directly, just inference in so called clever
ways, baring in mind, the instrument readings, are projected
imagery to begin with, but that doesn't necessarily infer that
just because its a brain created image, that amazingly appears
to be projected back to its, OUT THERE POSITION< IN time and
space, that because its a projection, it is bullshit. OR DOES
IT?
Now Jed, or ones like Jed, come along and imply that its an
hallucination, and I want to know, that yes I see it as the
brain responding to waves of light, and sound also is this
situation, whatever is percieved also, but I want to know, how
the hell can one state that it isn't really there. That its all
an hallucination. It might be a projection, created from the
brain, in response to the possibility that what is out there, is
in fact out there, and the limitation is our sensory apparatus,
thus perception is how we deduce the so called out there. I get
the feeling Jed is saying, nothing is really out there, but Im
wondering if nothing was really out there, then there'd be no
reflecting of these light waves, no entering into the eye, no
nothing, but instead, we do see a projected image. I want to
know for sure, if its all bullshit or not. How do I find that

I suppose Im asking, can it be known, beyond knowing. I want to
know what the hell is going on here. I don't want to waste any
more time. I don't want to merely accept what you said in your
books, or what some other so called enlightened guy has said.
Maybe coming here, conveying where I think Roger might be at, is
avoiding the simply not knowing, and perhaps that is something
that one has to live through, but its been like this for quite
sometime, and allthough, ego is no longer demanding attention,
emotions roaring, and all is somewhat quiet on the brain front,
Im still unclear on what this actually is, and I don't seem to
be able to get Clear in this matter, but Im asking another,
which is probably more ego bs. I don't know, and maybe not
knowing is damn well uncomfortable, but hey, throwing a beaken
out in the wind, is not the end of it all. Im curious of what
you might state, be it, nothing at all. I don't know what is
going to occur next, kind of a thing. Yes, in one sense, that is
good, but in the truth sense, IM all out of knowings of how to
proceed.

Thank you for your post. So, let me get this straight. You are
saying that my expressing that all is nothing and this is one
great hallucination is how it is (for me) but according to your
studies and experience, you don't think it's that way (i.e., for
you). Now, this is my summary of what you said so correct me if
inaccurate.
What's my experience, is strictly my experience and what is
yours is strictly yours. You are drawing from what I would call
conventional sources, university, profs, academia and the like.
I drew from others, more hmm... esoteric... if you will... and
they pointed me in a very different direction. It's quite
ridiculous to think that my way is any better than anyone else's
way.
Permit me to ramble a little more. I get that you are not deeply
satisfied and happy with ''your'' way. The reason I say that is
you would not be writing to some invisible guru living half way
around the world in the jungles of Cambodia in order to ask what
might be described as life altering matters. Once again, if I
error in my assessment here, please let me know.
My test in life is very simple ''Does it work?'' and my criteria
for measuring that is does something make an apparent person
happy, satisfied, productive in the sense that he/she tends to
bring some additional joy into this dream? I trust you can grasp
what I am saying. I did my work and have found what works for
me, that's all, just me. I kind of generalize in that I think it
can work for other folks as well... and indeed, over time I have
found that to be so.
I have attended university, I have met a number of professors
and highly educated people, I have listened to numerous academic
theories on how this world came into being, studied various
physics/origin theories, I have traveled around the world and
been to many countries that you cannot even get near these
days... and I have found only three people who I look at and
thought to myself, ''I want what he has... or more like I WANT
WHAT HE HAS!''. I found it but it had nothing to do with
academia, with learning, with more and more me invested in
..well... more and more me, and of course more and more drama. I
I recommend that you listen to everybody as best you can and
never, ever believe them. You can always tell if a human is
lying, their lips will be moving. Take on what you want and find
what works FOR YOU.
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to share
them, PLUS, this journey of seeking is not for everyone. It's
not without it's ups and downs and it definitely takes great
patience.

I learnt that sound, doesn't occur in the so called out there,
same for colour and what science infers, is that the colour and
sounds we see, are the effects of sound and light,(EMS) in
regards to what IS OUT there, but avoiding the reality, I feel,
that sound and colour, are brain/mind, created things, which are
amazingly projected back to their likely source. From that it
appears we are creating the visual, the heard landscape of what
is out there, and we have learnt about what is considered out
there, from an imagined projection in the first place. , hence
when you say, its an hallucination etc, and in response to
seeing you write that, I defensively ranted about the science
aspect, that this projection, call it what one does, is in
response to an ACTUALL out there, it can't just be something out
of nothing, Can It????..BUT I still don't know! Is the
projection in response to what is actually out there, or whether
its fluffy dream stuff inclusive of the Perceived, heard and
seen Roger??? I suppose I want to know, if it can be known
beyond knowing, and I dare say, I have to come to that, and less
impatiently maybe. My world feels upside down. Time for walks,
deep breaths perhaps. Cheers mate.

So Rodger has pondered, rested in this somewhat, given it some
thought, and I now feel that some projecting back to its source
is nonsense. This picture, is really picture after picture,
moving so fast in the mind that how can one not take it for
real. Just like at the cinema. I am not implying its not
representation of what might be out there, baring in mind, that
its crystal clear that color, light and dark, sound, etc., is
not out there. Its a sobering thought that I have never seen or
perhaps perceived, anything directly, just a brain created
image, images, of what may be out there, baring in mind, we only
know what is out there from an image that is brain created in
the first place. To dispute the mountains, the birds, the
babies, the old man, is just sheer4 imagination, feels much to
much. How would that work. Am I all alone, only imagining a
world full of people, nature, teeming with life. Im at the point
of not knowing, which perhaps is more honest than purely
accepting whatever presents on this 2D screen, as rock hard
truth. I never felt that I was only ever perceiving a brain
created image, irrespective of whether it is representational.
The other thing Jed is, awareness itself, is required in this.
The movement of the pictures, life itself, requires awareness of
these things. The pictures change, but awareness doesn't.
Anyway, no doubt close to the word count. Over and
Out....Wodger.

What would you know without awareness... or, perhaps more
important, what do you know with awareness? Are you aware of
anything, or is it just a matter of awareness just awaring and
no you required.
