       Understanding Ramana

       Dear Jed, this I was watching a documentary on Ramana. If
       understood correctly the takeaway was I am the screen on which
       everything is projected. Even if there is fire projected on the
       screen the screen itself does not burn. So if I am the screen, I
       am all that I see - it is all me. My current confusion is if
       everything I see is an illusion and not real but I am everything
       then I too must be an illusion? Not sure if this is confusion or
       brain fusing and shorting? :P

       Are you really a rock hopper. I am one, but on two wheels. But
       on to Ramana....
       I agree with what you are interpreting of his work, but you have
       to be careful on your conclusion because there two ''I''.
       Actually probably an infinite number, but I have to be a least a
       little reasonable). The personal ''I'', the one that you
       generally think of as you is indeed an illusion... 100%
       illusion. BUT, that larger ''I'' (or you) is the context within
       which ALL ''I''s appear. Nis referred to them as ''I am'' but he
       was seldom clear on which of the two ''I am''s he was speaking
       of.
       Contemplate it and let me know your thoughts (if you have any
       and if they are indeed yours).
