Jed Rant: A Course in Manifesting (ACIM)

Dear all who passeth this way, lurkers included of course:
As many of you are aware, my memory is terrible. T/R did nothing
to help as virtually all attachment to my past has been
released. I can recall events but it does take some effort. Many
folks live in the past. Often it's about bad feelings and
regrets but sometimes it's all about those ''good old days''.
Neither appeal to me, but having said that, there are one or two
memories that stick out. Permit me to share one of those as best
I can recall it.
I remember being in a restaurant in Phnom Penh about ten or
twelve years ago and discussing something with my wife of
fifteen or so years. I think it was about our travel plans but I
am not clear on that. The point was she wanted to do something
and I was seeking to do something else. We were not fighting,
just in spirited debate. I eventually acceded to her thoughts on
the subject with something like, ''O.K. dear, let's do it your
way'' to which she replied (with a mix of frustration, love and
anger, she was like that) ''Damn it, you always get what you
want ''. And then we did what I had proposed to do.
I got much more than just the subject of our debate. I realized
at a deep level that I almost always got what I wanted and I was
a little shocked. Certainly not 100%, but to a remarkable degree
I have gotten just about everything I have ever wanted. The gift
and gratitude of that realization is still with me and the time
has come to reverse engineer it. Google defines ''reverse
engineering'' as ''The reproduction of another manufacturer's
product following detailed examination of its construction or
composition''. Perhaps ''self-reverse engineering'' describes it
better.
The process has been going on for a few months now and the
logical extension of my deconstruction is to format it into a
teachable system. It seemed to me that a good name for said
system would be to call it what it is, A Course in Manifesting.
Of course that can be abbreviated to ACIM …. hmm… Well, maybe
you and I together can create a few miracles as well.
A facet of ACIM (Jed's ACIM) is about H/A, but it's much more
than that. The system draws on the Series but from a different
angle. More specifically less about past and more about future.
In addition, there are a number of new technologies, and I am
not afraid to call out the effluvium that abounds in this field…
and much silliness abounds. I guarantee no bangles, beads,
angelic beings or channeling. I am keeping things very
practical.
ACIM is a collection of methods and exercises which improve the
quality of the human dream. Whatever that means to you. That's
an important point. Schools, parents and various organization in
society are not designed to free you up, to show you your
creativeness and to assist you in expanding/exploring it. Most
humans want what others have told them will bring happiness. It
may well have brought someone else happiness but humans are sold
on the assumption that it will also bring them happiness. In
this way there is a strong tendency for humans to dedicate
themselves to manifesting other people's dreams. Dream merchants
are working 24 hours a day and are very effective at ''dream
direction''. They have assumed the directing of your dreams and
because it is so pervasive, yet subtle, it's accepted a just the
way it is.
I don't want anyone following my dreams and I don't want to
follow anyone else's dreams. And thus begins A Course in
Manifesting.

14.) how to set outcome
15.) patterns and pattern interrupts

17.) sex, drugs and rock and roll (had to through that one in)

If you approach the source with only a cup you will only get a
cupful. Approach with an open heart and mind… then there is no
limit to what you can get.
