S/A Test
By: obmcbob Date: July 10, 2018, 11:39 am

Hi Jed, just a S/A example. I'd like to know if this seems about
what it is.
"- I'm sitting in a chair.
I'm not currently looking at the chair how can I possibly
know it's their? Also sitting - you can call what I'm doing an
infinite number of things, but it has no true word for it. Also
even if I see/feel "my" body I don't know if anything happening
outside of me is true or real. Nor have I ever confirmed duality
as truth; I cannot be proven to be different than any object I
may perceive."
So then I cut away the assumptions a bit:
"-A part of a universe I observed at one point doing something
To call everything outside of me something like "universe"
is not true. Nothing has an objective name to it! And 'I' is not
true either. Nor do I know if that actually happened, everything
that happened in my memories is always a theory. Also, I have no
proof of anything being a part of the 'universe'. Just because I
perceive it, does not mean it's true."

Hi there:
Thank you for your question. Nothing wrong with your process at
all. Well... let's go to the very beginning. That little but
very big word, ''I''. Just stop cold every time it arises. What
is this thing that seems to be a part of all you appear to
experience. Start and stop with ''I'' or perhaps ''I am''...
i.e., the sense that you are. Go there, find it, and go prior to
it.
Best wish on you journey.
Love ya, Jed.

I'm wondering what the difference between adulthood and
Spiritual Enlightenment is. Is spiritual enlightenment existing
as no-self and adulthood wearing an ego like a costume, but
knowing it's not true?

Not a bad description, not bad at all.
Love ya, Jed.

Do you have to reach enlightenment first to reach adulthood?

No. If you just want a happy freer dream, then H/A is fine. If
you are really going for the whole ball of wax then gaining H/A
first is a very prudent idea. T/R can be (counter-intuitively)
very disruptive to life, job and loved ones. The more H/A one,
the less traumatic T/R is going to be. Nothing has to be this
way and I am drawing upon personal and student's experiences.
Love ya, Jed.

Ok, and from your own personal experience would you recommend
T/R or H/A?

You have no say in it, really. You only think you make choices.
In a sense you are very, very un-free... but that's o.k. because
there is no you anyways.. just a collection of memories and
programs (dumped on you by others). I can't recommend one over
the other. H/A is transient and Truth is always what you really
are.
If you find that all a little confusing, ??? ??? ??? good. Be
confused. It's when you think you ''know'' that you are in
trouble. :P ::) ;)
Love ya, Jed.

Thank you Jed. It is very confusing because I guess everything
in egoworld is confusing (and even that I'm not sure of). Uhh,
so I want to use autolysis, but because I'm confused I have no
clue if I should target everything or just certain things or
what?... I just want to be happy and reach adulthood...

Your possibility of success is very dependent upon how serious
you are. Dabble and you will get dabbling results.
Love ya, Jed.
