Dear BeAware:
You hit the nail right on the head and that's one of the main
components of Navigation. Also, it's a major shortcoming of most
of the current systems. It's one thing to know a belief is not
true, but humans often hold onto thousands of beliefs we know
are not true. Knowing it is not true does not provide the relief
one seeks. In fact, just the opposite occurs, you beat up
yourself and your mind thus playing right into Maya/ego's game.
I found a workable solution, one that everyone I know of has
missed, and explain it fully in the Series. Thanks much for
raising the point.
Love ya, Jed.

Finally got around to starting to read finite and infinate games
after being inspired by the thread on it here and I'm glad I
did. I was beginning to become quite jaded with the amount of
rehashed and re-redressed ideas in the spiritual literature I've
selected lately. This book is the slap to the face I was looking
for.
I'm about 30 pages in and I already feel like someones gone into
my brain and started rewiring everything. With growing self
awareness I've realised for the past few years now that I'm full
of ****, but it's nice to have a conceptual framework of how the
bull****ting occurs.
In recognizing the nature of the games there's a little more
freedom in how seriously I take part in them.
I'm reading this book while simaltaneously pretending to play my
role in the finite game of "corporate snakes and ladders". Feels
good.

Some bad news about a family member this morning.
The event gave me a chance to remember how easy it is to get
sucked into drama, and also how easy it is to distance ourselves
from it.
Everything is this easy. Why does anything ever bother us or
upset us? Why do we live with a constant, low key tension about
everything when it's so easy to remember that nothing really,
actually matters? When we always have the choice to just accept
what is.

Well said BA:

That evil mini-me made me do it.

Just sitting and being aware seems to be the only thing I
need/want to do at the moment.
I'm not even sure what it is I'm trying to achieve. Almost seems
like I'd need to make up a problem in order to take some form of
action.
Of course I have problems that I could view as something to work
on or do something about but that game is getting tiring. Seems
much nicer just to watch everything pass through me.

Another occurance this morning that felt like somewhat of a
breakthrough. I've done self inquiry quite a few times before
but today seemed to be the first time I actually isolated and
felt the sense of I. Previously I've excluded thought, body,
concepts etc from the sense of I but for some reason included
all my senses and perceptions when looking for "I". Today I went
beyond that and just stayed with the presence itself, before
sight, hearing, thought and everything else.
I feel like another piece of a puzzle has fallen into place and
the road to where i need to get to seems a little straighter
now. I can kind of see why you keep telling me to forget all the
other stuff. I'm not going to solve anything with my mind
because there's nothing to be solved. Just a shift that needs to
occur.
Question... Is there value in continuing with self inquiry after
this point? Is constantly going back to and resting in
being/emptiness/whatever what's required for me to make the
shift from living as a little me to living and knowing myself as
just an empty presence?

Don't ask me. You know exactly what to do, now trust in yourself
and DO IT!
