How to walk on the enlightenment path along with parenting?

       Hello Jed,
I am new here and to be frank I do not really know if you are
the real "Jed McKenna" whose forum is supposed to be more
mysterious than the first to pop up when I searched on google.
I have read your first three Trilogy end 2015 and spent the time
since then to digest what you had said in your book. I am a mom
for two children and feel particularly difficult to do my
parenting job when I have your Truth on my mind. I do not know
how to guide them spiritually anymore as I can not tell a 8
years old that life is meaningless and nothing matters. I would
love to hear you re this as I do not find too much in your book
talking about being a parent to young children.
       Many thanks Jed.

       Hi there Ah:
Welcome and thanks for your question. It is indeed a good one.
In my experience and observations, of which I have an
embarrassing number of years to my credit, the mold has been
pretty much cast by seven or eight years of age.
I assume you are not T/R and are sorta a follower (ooohhh.... my
bad there) or just reading up on the subject. I certainly
applaud that but when it comes to raising children, I much
prefer answer to their questions be non-answers. My father
happened to be brilliant at that. When I asked a questions he
would inevitably invite some kind of mutual exploration of the
       subject.
Q: Hey day, what the lighted and heaviest word.... no answer,
Next day he arrived with a block of balsa and a similar sized on
of lignum vitae. We both learned.. only I probably learned more
than him. I was learning how to explore and parent.
How about an example of how you life is going with the little
ones. Remember, you can't teach what you don't know but you can
always model out learning and discover for all parties.
       Love ya, Jed.

Thanks Jed. Excited to receive your prompt reply. What's T/R?
Sorry I know very little of the short forms in your field.
To be specific, I am concerning how to lead my children when
they ask about god and religion. As we all know, no religion is
authentic so I suppose it may not be a good idea to let my
children to be say a Christian for now just for them to feel
mentally safe and secure, then telling them what they used to
believe in their whole life as true and sacred was just nonsense
       when they are 20.
Besides, raising children in daily life is far more than
answering their questions when they are curious about the would.
There are all sorts of discipline, emotional & behavior issues,
along with schooling, training and others. And my question is
if everything that had happened is just prefect, why bother?
What do you think about Anthroposophy and Waldorf Education?
Before I read your book, I thought they are the path of truth.
But now, I have nothing to hold on.
       Thanks again.

Took my child to Waldorf... probably about 10 years old at the
time, not bad, but really just a better factory. Much home
schooling followed that. Schools are almost all
institutionalized child abuse.... and I don't say that lightly.
My suggestion is STOP TELLING THEM, especially things that you
know are outright lies... do you think they can't sense lies....
probably a crap load better that you can.
Q: Is there a God, (or for the dyslexics in the crowd..''Is
       there a Dog.) ??? ??? ???
A: Well, that's a great question. There a so many people that
think they have the answer.... let's start a little book,
(drawings if younger) and you and I explore that question... so,
if there was a God, would it be a man or a woman. (of course
       that's a trick question. Anyone with half a brain knows it's a
woman). Maybe we can go to different temples, churches or
mosques and see what other folks think. Perhaps read some books
on the subject. Don't waste time sitting around rationalizing
       better ways to lie.
Remember (ohh... I can here the hate mail coming in) it is NOT
you job to love your child, and I am not saying that there is
nothing wrong with that, however, JOB #1 is raising your child
to become and adult, and just possibly make some future
contribution to the dream of humanness by then going out into
the world and raising more adults.
You child will model out what you do, be it lying or b.s. or
perhaps a sense of questioning and curiosity. He/she will model
out parts of you that even you are not aware of, so here is an
opportunity for you to grow and learn as much as your child.
Spirit of inquiry... when a child says ''Why?" practice saying
something more Truthish, like ''I don't know'', or ''Let's see
what we can find out about that.''. Also, forgive your parents
(this is a biggie). They were raise by people who for the most
part had no training and no clue as to how to parent. Also read
Dumbing us Down, by John Gatto. Brilliant and honest work.
AND, for heaven's sake, put more fun in your life. I can smell a
serious fun deficiency. It's the best way to learn.
T/R means Truth Realization, AKA, enlightenment, realizing your
True Nature, and a variety of other words used to describe what
cannot be described... perhaps throw ''God'' in there too.
I wish you the best... and realize that you're going to screw up
plenty... so never forget to forgive yourself. It's just part of
       this wonderful dream.
       Love ya, Jed.

Thanks for your long answers and recommendation of the John's
       book. Shall look into it.
I am not a follower of any religion. I'm not sure the definition
of qualifying a T/A but I am on my way, recognizing the smell of
ego and fear, finding my own answer to your riddle of the big
red button that kills everyone in Switzerland, not to mention
identifying H/A around me, and throwing a small part of me away
everyday... buzy enough indeed. I know I'm just an actress but
as long as I am still playing the mom's role which is a heavy
role, I can't be nobody yet can I?
Freud and Jung talked about dreams are projections of
unconsciousness. Just curious (I have my curiosity too) as a
T/A, I suppose you are fully conscious. Do you still make
dreams at night? If you do what are they representing?

Dreams occur sometimes and not sometimes. Haven't had a ''bad''
dream in over twenty years, but why do you ask. Are you trying
attach some importance and significance to dream? Don't waste
your time. Night dreams are as insignificant as this day dream.
       Love ya, Jed.
P.S. you already have more than enough importances to weigh you
       down.

Ah right, of course, but it's not about significance for me,
it's about consciousness and unconsciousness. I guess I want a
proof that "dreams are projection of unconsciousness" is
nonsense just like all other theories in any academic field.
I've been spending some years lightening my unconsciousness as
"unconsciousness is king". But your trilogy was telling me that
everything is just my consciousness. So I wonder is a T/R has
no unconsciousness anymore and has nothing to project hence no
dreams or nightmares. In typing this now, I am thinking even
what I thought as uncon was actually part of my con too.
So no dreams are important, regardless day or night. My
question is how to live life then as I have nothing to strive?
No role to play but not yet dead?

What's the problem, you don't have any choice anyways, so about
the only thing to do is watch what arises... that's all I do and
you'd be surprised how well it works out. Try it.
       Love ya, Jed.

So does it mean that if there is something you feel that you
want to achieve or work on, say trying to make a better life or
help children etc, they are all a product of ego who needs
satisfaction or recognition? Any exception? Who makes the
       judgement?
It's probably not a problem not doing anyway but wouldn't it be
bored sometimes? So what a T/R would do in daily life is
answering online questions from those he does not even know? No
intention to offend, just want to know.

Well... it seems to be what this dream body is inclined to do...
now. Tomorrow I might become a rock star... no one here to know
and no one here to care...
Mind, ego and society will ask ''Isn't that boring?''. How can
never knowing that is going to arise next be boring? It's quite
       fascinating and always different.
As to answering questions on the forum and running the Series
... I have no idea why I do it and enjoy it. It's beyond me.
       ::) ::) ::)
       Love ya, Jed.
