Dear Members and lurkers:
I found an interesting Youtube post which relates directly to my
use of the expression that you are, in Truth, a void of infinite
capacity. Here is what one poster on Youtube said: 'I think we
don't know enough about anything to say anything about anything
for sure'.

The math will mess with your head, perhaps watch a little at the
beginning for flavor and then the last few minutes for fun....
imagine the word ''Truth'' whenever he says ''infinity''.

Love it, the vacuum catastrophe is another debunking of how
Science usually deals with things, and call it renormalizing it,
and do so because its blows the accepted knowledge/belief to
bits. This of course can lead to more knowledge, but some
knowledge points clearer than others. I'd like to post
something in Winston's Spot, and didn't just want to do so,
without asking first. You run a tight ship, or a tight ship is
running this, so no big deal either way, I just like this sort
of stuff.

Reminds me the infinity hotel paradox.
Infinity is a small door that can let some phenomena from the
world of Truth infiltrate to the world of the mind. Same way,
duality, the idea of "other", is the door that allows the world
of the mind invade the world of Truth.

After my no-self realization I had a thought that maybe 0 =
infinite. Like you can't have something without nothing.
After a google I found this which was interesting.

Stayed with the Math. Didn't agree with "some infinities are
bigger than others. There are more real numbers between 0 and 1
than there are whole numbers in total." How can you possibly
say that when both go on forever? I will literally never run
out of whole numbers, so how could anything be larger?
I don't believe infinity x infinity is larger than infinity.

I too disagree... but go a little further. There is one true
infinity and that is ''Truth''. The infinite capacity for all
that arises. Nothing else is infinite but some things are damn
big.

Thank you. I tried to watch the video but couldn't wrap my head
around it. My math is terrible so I could either discard it or
accept it at face value, but something didn't feel right. That
would be because the video looks at it from within the
Dreamstate, which is paradox upon paradox, yet all untrue. If
you take infinity to be "Truth", as you say (and I should've
seen) then it all makes sense, because it all is BS... which
explains why it didn't feel right.

As I examine the perceived universe, it seems fairly obvious
that all in contained within awareness (is that what we're
calling truth?). No evidence that awareness is contained. It's
a little unsettling.
This must be why emotion/fear is the crux of the dreamstate.
Even now in this moment of somewhat lucidity, I can guess that
I'll hang out with friends in a bit and feel concerned about
whether this girl will like me, and in that moment fully buy in
to the idea of being a little guy in a big universe.
