Importances

Dearest Jed. Can you please talk some more on importances? What
are they? How they are created and maintained?. What is their
mechanism? How do I take care of this in my own experience?
Thank you in advance.
Oh Yeah I Love You :)

Hi Tone:
Thank you for your post and welcome to the forum.
Importances have very little to do with what an event was like,
how bad it was, etc. Importances are the hooks that the holds an
event/memory/feeling in the (usually) subconscious. When a
sight, smell or sensation triggers that importance due to some
similarity, the event is promptly brought to consciousness,
i.e., it impinges on conscious awareness. Having said that,
frequently the actual conscious memory takes a back seat and the
feelings (usually negative) arise along with the thought, "WTF
was that about?" or ''Why am I feeling so crappy right now?''.
Collapsing those importances can be accomplished by conventional
therapy, usually at great expense and taking years of arduous
work. The challenge with such therapy is that the therapist has
no idea what he or she is doing and hence it's not reliable or
repeatable, i.e., non-scientific.
You can collapse importances with a straight forward
contemplation which I teach in the Nav Series. It requires a
little study and time to learn, plus some hand holding. The
reason it needs to be done methodically is that collapsing a
number of importances leaves one with what can only be explained
as a large void. Very distressing and unproductive. That is
handled in the process as well.
It's not something that can be taught in a paragraph and if not
done properly will leave one in a BOAM. (bit of a mess).
Love ya, Jed.

Dearest Jed.
Thank you so much for your reply. I understand what you are
saying that it can’t be taught in a paragraph. I will have to
find my own way through, of course.
Love ya

Dearest Jed,
Can you please tell me what you meant by the title/phrase
spiritually incorrect enlightenment?
Love ya,

All meanings are made up by what appears to be a human. If I
tell you what something means or meant at the time of writing
that will be meaningless until you attach some meaning to it,
and perhaps an importance. What's the point in that.
Don't spend time attaching meaning, spend time realizing the
nature of meanings and the process of attaching importances to
them. More to be gained from that approach, at least that is
what my experience has been.
Love ya, Jed.

Dearest Jed, big thank you for your reply. I didn’t expect that
kind of answer, initially.
I am traumatized to the bone, which means everyone else is.
Others trauma and hence violence is my trauma and violence.
Importances are the survival energy of me. Worry is my modus
operandi. Me is this apparent activity and all its attempts to
relieve this me. To have and see this experience fully, is to
see that not I nor anyone else has ever been traumatized and is
in fact untraumatizable.
sure I love ya,
tone
