I guess this is my first attempt at properly trying to get some
good snaps on a race weekend. Lots to learn but had fun!

Doune June 2012. Characterised by a treacherous combination of
new tarmac and damp weather. No records were going to get
broken, but a few cars did.

This Mk1 Escort looks perfectly at home slewing through Oak Tree
       corner.

Now a reformed character back on the straight and narrow.

Malcolm Milne driving his well developed Nova beyond the limit.
Don't let the colour fool you, this is a serious piece of kit.

The Marshals were quick to jump into action. The track was
swept, broken glass was picked up piece by piece and the
barriers were checked. Malcolm was fine with the Nova looking
like it could benefit from a new headlamp and wing.

I followed the GWR Raptor team for a wee while and got a set of
shots as they prepared for a run up the hill. Driver Lee Adams
won both run offs in the petite car which has an engine half the
size of some competitors. As the saying goes it's what you do
       with it that counts...

A much better use for a BMW M5 V8 than a large saloon car!

One of those upgrades being a move from ACB10's to slicks.

Car and driver are from Aberdeen...
       I reckon that'll do!
