It was road legal until this year, as I didn't have a trailer.
10 years of driving to events, the last year with a sequential
gearbox. Enough was enough. Its the gearbox which made it
horrible on the road, not the engine which is very tractable and
built for mid range rather than top end really. So in the end I
bought a trailer. Its great and has really improved the weekend
race experience. Much more relaxing and not crapping yourself
all the time thinking something might fail.
So as I didn't need it road legal anymore, I took the lights out
to site some brake ducts. Add the lights back, it would pass an
       MOT.

Rob, I take it the ceramic coating is instead of heat wrapping?
What other advantages does it offer/have you experienced?

Yep, its instead of heat wrapping, which doesn't last long in my
experience before turning to dust and dropping off. The ceramic
coating lasts for years, and doesn't attack your skin also when
       working near it.
