heater deleted and advice ..?
By: ces Date: October 26, 2013, 6:48 am

hello.
I need advice.
I remove the heater in my mk1, and I would like to simplify the
systemme refroidisemment in the same occasion.
I have often seen on some preparation, modifications, which it
just to have a single water pipe on the head by example
and this is where I am concerned, especially on the right
refroidisemment the cylinder head.
I had also seen that some preparation on the water pump had some
bite out?
I would like to have an opinion of it.
thank you to you. ;)

What's the car being used for? How are you going to demist the
screen?
I bought a car a few years ago that had an ex race engine on it,
and had one of the heater outlets welded up, which I took out
because I wanted to run a heater in it. Unless you're going for
absolute ultimate performance in a competition car, I'd still
have a heater and blower, although you can throw away a lot of
the stuff around it.

hi ,all.
well i do this tranformation ,and the result is :
-the right side of the head is more hot (cyl 3/4) about 20°
more.
the sytem of cooling is not afected about the blank plate.
and my conclusion is it's good to not use a blanke plate ,the
bes way is to use the hose withe oem pipe and directly fit on
water pump.
;)
