Not for this. I had them fetch the bath brush, drop pants, and
I put my foot up on the edge of the bed, then bent them across
my upraised leg for a quick for - solid, but limited to the
buttocks.

You often use that position?
Don't remember having read you doing it that way before.
So were the swats over their underwear?
How did the boys take their swats, silently or with some yelps
and tears?

I do it that way from time to time. It steadies them and limits
my swing.
Yes, the swats were on their boxers.
There was some yelping, but no tears. These were just reminders
to focus on their chores a bit better - not really a big deal
for either of them.

Leif has always had problems with chores. He's gotten better
about it the last.. oh, probably more than a year now, but I
think this is just a case of slipping back into past habits.
