May 18 Spanking Report

I promised myself I wouldn't get so far behind this year.
The first spanking I heard that occurred this month was while I
was talking to Mike Reasoner's mom about what would make an
acceptable graduation present for him (they understand I want to
give something meaningful and personal, but they don't want me
spending too much money for him). After we finished that, she
asked me about Kenny.
Let me remind you that Kenny and her younger son, Ian Reasoner
(13), have been friends almost since Kenny started school here.
Ian is about three months older than Kenny, but he's also always
been a bit smaller than Kenny. Because of my nephew, Jake, and
especially since Colt moved in with us, you can't say Ian and
Kenny are best friends, but I think you can say that Ian and
Kenny are extremely close.
Now, the Reasoner's are spankers, but they tend to be less
strict that me. They tended to be less harsh with Ian when he
did get spanked. That's because Mike was in a lot less trouble
than Ian usually managed, but when he was in trouble, it was
usually serious. When I first met him, that was pretty hard for
Mike to understand for a while, especially since he's old enough
he was already getting the belt occasionally by the time I met
them. As Mike left CP behind, it seemed he was able to get some
distance and understand things better, and, as his little
brother continued to get spanked more often (though not as
harshly most of the time), Mike became more empathetic towards
his little brother.
The reason Ms. Reasoner asked about Kenny is that it turns out
Ian has been acting up and been in more trouble, and more
serious trouble, recently. It seems like he's being straight up
defiant at times; not so much 'in their faces', but listening,
saying okay, then doing whatever he wants, and griping when he
gets in trouble. While she didn't go into specifics, I'm pretty
sure it was last Saturday. It seems that, when he hung out over
here late that morning/early afternoon, he'd been specifically
told not to leave the house until his chores/homework were done.
I remember his dad calling to see if he was here, and it sounds
like it ended with him getting the belt for deliberate
disobedience. From what I remember Mike telling me over the
years, deliberate disobedience is one of those things that
always ends up bare.
I can't remember exactly when she told me this - Wednesday I
think. I have considered it a bit since then, and it seems to
me that, while Ian is a bit of a late bloomer, he's also been
pretty impulsive and not especially mature, and I think those
things are just combining now and conspiring to get him into bad
situations. I'm not sure what one could do to help him with
that, but I'll have to at least suggest it to her.

Kenny and Aidan Guthrey got spanked Wednesday night. It was a
nice day, and the two of them decided to ride their bikes over
to a kids house near the elementary/intermediate school. I
don't know the kid that well, and I don't think I've ever
mentioned him here. He wasn't home, so they decided to go
riding around for a while, apparently met some kids at the
school, played soccer for a while, and completely lost track of
time - not getting back here until 6:45, after I called them at
about 6:25.
You know what that means.
Aidan (13) is actually older than Kenny (13), but he's also
smaller, and he's company, so I let him go first. Neither one
of them was happy with that choice, but so it goes.
Both of them being teens, they got the Red Maple. It was a
standard spanking (a little light, honestly), but they were both
pretty vocal in their appreciation.
Of course, the day you get spanked at your uncle's house is the
day Dad shows up early to pick you up. David was talking to me
to make sure it was nothing serious, when Aidan's older brother,
Ethan (15), said something to Aidan that ticked Aidan off. I
didn't hear it, but David was a bit closer, and he must have,
because he turned around and offered Ethan a whipping when they
got home, then changed that to suggest he should ask me to spank
Ethan right there in front of everyone. All the Guthrey boys
are fairly pale, and Ethan went turbo red at just the
suggestion. He assured his dad he wouldn't like that, and
apologized to his little brother. David sent them to the car.
I later asked David if he thought he hadn't overreacted, but he
said that Ethan's been having some attitude trouble and picking
on his little brother lately, so maybe not.

A bit of public embarrassment is not good in general, but as
punishment for picking on his little brother it may be
appropriate.

Usually I keep the grands (sons and nephews) on a regular
visitation schedule (odd weekends using Friday to count the
weekends). This gives the parents some private time together
and gives the grandkids some time with popop and their uncles.
Last night was an exception, since Chris and Marcus are both
teachers and have finals coming this week.
We did have pretty much just a family night last night. So I
let the little guys skinny dip. We did have a few of the close
family friends that are around the same ages as the grands -
Ennis Strouse, Eli Marchant, and Brandon Malone. Elementary
kids don't really have finals, so they were pretty relaxed and
excited about the last week of school.
They were excited enough that I had to call most of them down at
times for various pool related transgressions. At one ponit,
Brandon, Ennis, and Kline (who are classmates together at BCA)
all had to sit out for ten minutes. Then I had Glen (10) do the
same thing not that long later. Glen complained that it wsn't
fair I was making him sit out by himself. I pointed out that he
was the only one who had been misbehaving that time.
Since I'm reporting it here, you know something happened. I
stepped into the kitchen, and I'd barely gotten there when I saw
Glen up and at the pool. I went back out and called him down.
Instead of minding, he stayed where he was and argued with me.
When I started towards the pool, he met me half way. I led him
back onto the patio, dried him off, and the two of us went to my
office.
We had a talk about obeying the rules, and why I have boys sit
out when they don't (to remind them, and to let everyone else
know I'm serious about them). I pointed out that he would have
been done with his sit out if he'd just done it, but instead he
directly disobeyed me - not once, but twice, with backtalk.
He knew what was coming, and he was pretty upset. Glen is 10
now, and I considered the Tailblazer, but I decided this wasn't
that serious. I put him over my lap and gave him a pretty
through hand spanking that had him crying hard and on the edge
of bawling. Afterwards, he sat in my lap and cuddled a bit
while he calmed down. We talked about it a few minutes more,
and I assured him he could go get dressed or put on a bathing
suit, but he said he'd feel funny with everyone else skinny
dipping, so he ended up going back with his red tail glowing.
As far as I could tell, no one teased him about it.

Well, apart from the comfort and sense of freedom, that's the
advantage of skinny-dipping: The boy is ready if he misbehaves
;)
