       Microsoft Service Agreement
By: Jack Date: March 28, 2018, 12:02 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
I heard some news on the radio this morning which concerned me.
When I got home, I checked a bit more to find I'm not the only
one disturbed. Instead of me trying to explain everything,
here's an article from Fortune that explains some of the
       details.

Hopefully they'll be facing a major lawsuit over this, but who
       knows for sure.

That is disturbing. It is also why Tech Industry stocks are
dropping like a lead weight. 401K's are dropping also. So
people are disturbed by the lose of privacy, with fears that
people will pull out of these systems, which means advertisers
will pull out, which means that revenue will drop.
The idea of anyone at Microsoft who wants to watch will be
allowed to go into customers skype conversations and
"investigate" what they are saying and doing is scary as heck.
As for any lawsuits? Probably won't fly. The system is theirs.
They have the right to set whatever boundaries they wish with
their own system. We as customers have the right to not use it
if we want, but I doubt if customers have any legal "Standing"
as to privacy on someone else's system.
What I see happening. I see an enterprising entrepreneur,
probably from someplace other than this country, will open and
operate a system that will offer privacy. Over time people on
Microsoft, Facebook, Skype, Xbox, Android and others, will
       migrate to the other system.
This could be a death blow to the U.S. Tech Industry, because
the one thing people like is their privacy. That is why
encryption sells so well. That is why privacy minded people use
Operating Systems, that is not Internet Explorer.
