Adam's 10th Birthday

Adam's birthday is Monday. He wanted a big party with all of
his friends, so we decided to do a carnival theme and invite all
the younger kids.
It's supposed to be a nice day - a little cloudy and a little
windy, but warm and dry. Marcus and Chris are coming over to
help set up the booths and everything this morning, and they
suggested we set up a tent as well. Clayton and Daniel went and
picked up the carnival booths and some tables from the Party
Palace last night, so we're just about ready to go.
Technically the party is 11 to 3, but who knows how these things
will actually go. hopefully it will be a great time for my now
double-digit foster grandson.

I guess it's just too many people for you to bake cakes. You

And I still have C&C.
Daniel, we'll have homemade cake on Monday for his dinner.
Today was definitely store bought. The bonus is that lets us
have a number of different types, and people can have small
pieces and try more kinds.
It's the first really warm day we've had in a while. Marcus and
Chris and Steve are all here (with their kids), and they
encouraged me to go take my meds and lie down for a while.
Since my knee's bothering me a bit, I decided I could at least
sit down, and I might stretch out and read in a bit.

I hope it doesn't result in trouble for Adam, as he and Klline
have already clashed over age/oldest privileges, and he and
Glenn aren't even a month behind. In general though, he's
riding high for now.
