2-27-18: Wrecked

Daniel stayed home sick today, so I went in to the stores after
work, and was doing some deliveries and checking to make sure
everything was ready for tomorrow.
I was going down a main road at about 43 (just under the speed
limit, because it had been drizzling a bit), and this idiot made
a left turn directly in front of me - I had the green, and I
even heard him admit to the cop that he had restricted vision.
I wasn't injured, but I had to get a rental van until ours is
repaired, and I'm sore as heck. Since I'm on a blood thinner, I
can't take Ibuprofen or Aleve, so I had to go see a doctor to
get a prescription for a muscle relaxant I can take (thought
only at night, since it could knock me out). I've already
talked to the older boys, and we're going to skip story time
tonight - as soon as I have the littles settled, I'm going to
have a long, hot soak, then go to bed a bit early.
And yes - this is why I missed chat.

Sorry to hear about the accident, and glad you're not too badly
hurt. You will likely be MORE sore tomorrow and the next day,
but things should improve after that.

Nope - Actually I'm feeling much better than I was yesterday
afternoon. I'm probably lucky that I had so much stuff to do,
so I had to spend most of the day moving around. That helped me
work past the worst of the tightness I think - even though it
was pretty miserable yesterday. Today my back and shoulders are
still sore, and my ROM on my neck is still a bit limited, but
I'm not half as bad as I was yesterday.
So doing much better - thank you all for your kind thoughts.

I'm pretty much fine. It's a bit hard to separate any aches and
pains that are new from just the general, 53 year old and
working hard aches and pains, which is actually good, I guess.
