Feb 18 Spanking Report

This actually happened on the 2/2, I just haven't had time to
report it before now.
Perry has been bringing his younger (not at BCA) brothers over
here a bit more often the past month or two, with my
encouragement. He often brings them over Friday afternoon,
while the other boys are at school. They play with the animals
and sometimes use the hot tub or nap, until the other boy get
home.
Both boys are pretty energetic, to the point of being rowdy.
That's not actually a problem, except when it comes to a couple
of details. Both boys have been warned a couple of times about
running in the house, and Bo (7) has been warned not to chase
the lops.
Lops are actually good pets for little kids, and most of them
love being hugged and petted. The problem is that Bo's behavior
comes across as aggressive and makes them skittish. He's been
warned several times about that, and he was specifically
reminded when we decided to get the lops out.
Despite the warning, one bunny wiggled away from Bo to get a
toy, so he stood up and ran at the others. I'm sure he meant
no harm, but they scattered (which really ticked off Fido, who
stopped herding them long enough to growl at Bo). Fido wasn't
the only one to growl at Bo.
Perry moved him to the far side of the room, sat Bo on his feet
long enough to undo the hip buttons and bib buttons. The
overalls hit his ankles, and his briefs reached his knees a
second later. Bo knew what was coming and was begging for
another chance, while Perry lectured. Perry lifted Bo, laid him
across his lap, and gave his little brother 7 slow, firm swats,
that had him crying pretty hard. After the smacks, Perry sat Bo
up in his lap, rubbed his back and talked to him about why he'd
been in trouble and what he needed to do to avoid it.
Royce was on the other side of the room, playing with the
bunnies, and being very quiet.
After a couple of minutes, Bo was allowed to pull up his briefs.
He apologized to me, then Perry too him to wash up.
For the record, Bo has a rounder face than most of his brothers
- cute, round cheeks both top and bottom.

Sounds like an understandable way for an energetic 7-year -old
to get in trouble. Obviously, he was not able to tone it down
without this incentive. Hopefully he bounced back quickly and
was able to play with the lops, without angering Fido.
Is Fido protective of the lops?

Bo did bounce back quickly. He was ready to play again as quick
as he got his overalls re-fastened.
Fido was a bit ticked off at Bo, but when Bo sat down and tried
to get someone to come to him, Fido relaxed and relented.
Yes, Fido is protective of the lops. It's kind of funny,
because he seems to recognize them as related to him, but he
can't understand why they're so tiny. He actually tends to herd
them, and normally keeps them in a group.
A rabbit growl is kind of hard to describe. It's not the
rumbling sound a dog or cat makes, but is more like a huffing
grunt. You can find videos of it if you search youtube.

The younger set were in trouble again last night.
Connor and Curtis were pretty upset that some of the boys
hadn't had to go to school for a couple of days.
I forgave them not having their chores done on time and sat down
to remind them of the reasons why, as well as the fact that
those boys will have to make up those days another time. I'm
sure most of you know how 7 and 8 year old boys can be about
time, and they would much rather have been off NOW and it wasn't
fair and they weren't going to bed.
In a perfect world, I would have sat there and watched to make
sure they started moving. Instead, Mr. P was returning my phone
call, and I had other boys who needed attention. When I got
back, the boys were looking at their Pokemon cards and talking
about the cartoon. I took their cards, stood them up, and told
them we weren't going to do story time if they didn't get their
chores done quick. This time I had time to stand and watch to
make sure they got started.
Once they were started, I went to make sure the younger teens
(currently defined as Kenny, Colt, Devon, Leif, Kaden, Jake and
Ryan when they're with us - which they were last night) and Zeke
(Liam's pretty good about reminding Zeke, if Zeke looses track
of time, and Zeke seems to accept it so far, so that does help).
When I got back to Curtis and Connor, they'd stopped their
chores, and got their 3DS (it's a handheld game system) to look
at some of their Pokemon. Getting their games out after dinner
on a school night is forbidden without special permission (both
of them usually need 10 hours sleep, so they need to be in bed
by 8:30 to wake up easily between 6:30 and 7, and with chores,
baths, and story time, they usually only have 15 to 20 minutes
free if we eat about our normal time, which is allowing them to
take their time and drag their feet). They informed me that,
since they weren't going to school (tomorrow) that it wasn't a
school night. I informed them that they were sadly mistaken, and
that they needed to get ready for their baths and go get their
spanky bears.
They both still fit over my lap together, and it was 'only' a
hand spanking. They started crying pretty quickly, since they
were upset over the 'unfairness' of it all, but they broke down
to real quiet as their bottoms grew rosy. When I finished (they
were crying pretty hard, but not bawling), I sat them up for a
long hug, then we talked a bit. They apologized for arguing and
disobeying, and I got them back to their chores. I checked with
the younger teens quickly, then helped C&C finish up, bathed
them together, and we managed to still get in story time before
I tucked them in.

I did have visions of Fido somehow spanking Bo !! :-[ Perry has
spnking rights with his little brothers ?

Fido slaps my leg when I don't give him a treat fast enough. He
doesn't really have a lap to put Bo across, but if he could get
Bo bent across something, he might be big enough to hold the boy
down.
Yes, Perry has spanking rights with his little brothers (and
sisters, as far as I know), except for Chas and Evan. Those two
are some of his best friends. While he does help supervise
them, and has spanked them in the past, it really tears him up
to do so - but not doing so made him feel guilty. I chewed
Chris out about that, and Chris withdrew the permission. If
Perry thinks one or both of them need discipline, he comes to
his father or me.

Why should Fido spank naughty boys when he has servants to do
that job? :P
