22 Jan 2018 - Wonderful Weekend
By: Jack Date: January 28, 2018, 5:04 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
I spoke elsewhere about having the littles for movies and what a
great time we had. That was Friday.
Colt had a great time Saturday (and so did his brothers).
We did Main Event to start - bowling, laser tag, karaoke,
gaming, lots of food, they had gelato to go with the cake. I
think they all had a great time (even though we had to argue
about how big the party could be - it's unusual to me to have to
fight to have someone take my business, then want them to charge
me extra for it, but their district manager was a bit
disappointed in their attitude. I second guessed things after
that, but they did do a great job on the service.
We got home in time to rest a bit before going to the movie.
Colt wanted to invite a lot of people to the movie and to sleep
over. We'd already spent a lot on his party, so we agreed to
'eat your own dinner', and just went with popcorn and soda for
the movie. He had a great time. Colt isn't exactly shy, but he
doesn't normally seek the spotlight either. I think he loved
being the center of attention yesterday.
Funny story: because of the number of boys I often take to the
movies, we've come up with a system for relieving ourselves
afterwords. I normally send a couple of older boys in first,
while a couple of older boys who don't need to go so bad wait
until last. We will queue in the door, with me just inside,
directing traffic. I will point out when a urinal is empty or
someone leaves a stall.
Remember, while I know everyone in Colt's homeroom, I don't know
all of them (like Ralph) that well. I was taking each boy by
the shoulder and pointing him to the next spot when I heard a
laugh and turned to look. I saw a boy I didn't know with a man
behind him.
"That one's mine, but thank you for trying."
I could feel myself blushing, but the kid laughed as well, and
he was pretty cute. I took my own turn. His father introduced
himself as we finished washing hands - nice guys.
The sleepover went well. A number of the guys (including Ralph)
got a tour of my library. The spent a LOT of time in the game
room. I don't think they actually got much sleep, but they were
moderately quiet and fairly well behaved, and we still had food
when I woke, so I had no complaints to make.

Washroom Attendant! LOL! That reminds me of the few times when
I have encountered an attended restroom, and a guy quickly runs
up to me and starts brushing me with a brush and trying to hand
me some paper towels. Freaky situation. I guess I am just not
cultured enough to appreciate that kind of service.
