"Partial Credit" MMSA story by new author Howl

Howl is a new author and his debut story is one not to miss.
A lot of stories follow tropes and fantasy - which is great and
why we are here. This story, "Partial Credit" stands out because
iot is simply real family in real situations with believable
outcomes, especially post-spanking.
The emotion runs deep in this one. A reader feels badly for Noah
but cannot help but understand that his circumstances are
justified and fair. Mr. Cooper is an outstanding father who
loves his son but is also flawed. The relationship between Noah
and his dad seems normal for any 12-year-old and his dad. Up one
minute and then down another. Pre-teen angst, little boy, and
then adult thoughts all get mixed in and Mr. Cooper handles it
all.
So, the story is simple but complex. Noah is grounded,
rightfully so, but wants to go to a concert and presents an idea
to his father to be able to attend the concert.
Please do not miss this one.

Thank you for the recommendation,. I loved this story although
I'll warn readers that it is long--and totally worth it. Set in
"my world", as a kid who did weekend and holiday rounds with my
own dad from the age of 12 on, most of the story rings entirely
true, including the will he or won't he anxiety. I can't wait
to read more from this author, and I'd love to hear more about
these characters from him as well.

It is absolutely my kind of story. Love the ever-changing
emotions both with Noah and his dad. It is long, but it is well
worth reading. It needed to be that long to get the entire
story told. Howl didn't leave anything out. It is all there.
In reading this story I discovered I like the style of not
giving all the information at once, but revealing things slowly
throughout the story, piece by piece. You will understand what
I mean when you read it.
