We hit 57F/14C today. Tomorrow we have a major cold front
blowing in, so we decided to get together and grill. We had
porterhouses, shrimp, and scallops, with baked potatoes or steak
fries, roast veggie medley, sauteed garlic and grilled onion
mushrooms in butter, with cheesecake for dessert.
Besides me and the home boys - Connor, Curtis, Duncan, Ennis,
and Nick - we had Chris, Terry, Rhett (15), and Ryder (13), PJ,
Bridgette, Ryan (20), Dylan (18 ), Brennan (17), and Jay Pierce
(5), Marcus, Marcia, Kline (18 - senior in high school), Glenn
(16), and Paden (14), Charlie, Val, Carter (8 ), Mason (6),
Clayton, Daniel, Zeke, Chance, and Adam all joined us, along
with Perry and Chas Tidwell (19).
Everyone's gone home now, except Chas, who's spending the night.
My boys have a 10:30 bedtime, so they're getting cleaned up,
and after I tuck them all in (yes, I tuck Ennis and Nick in as
well), Chas has asked to have a talk with me.

Glad you had a wonderful time. It's a balmy 14F here, going
down overnight to 9. It hasn't been above freezing for a week,
and the driveways are sheet ice. I'm at a woodworking class--we
rented an airbnb next door to the school, but are driving next
door, because it is too dangerous to walk on the ice.
