Jan 18 Spanking Report

It took a full five days, but we finally got around to the first
spankings of the year.
Adam and Kline got in a literal fight last night (well, at least
an untrained, tween version). The problem is that this has
been a problem before.
I think there are two major problems between Kline and Adam, and
I keep hoping we get past them, but the same things seem to keep
cropping up. First of all, Adam was my oldest (local) grandson
for a long time. While he's always happily defered to Gryphon,
when he was around, and while he defers to Jake when Jake (or
Kenny) take an interest, he was generally the leader of the
older boys. Now Kline just showed up and he simply doesn't know
his place, thinking he should be in charge just because he's 14
months older than Adam. The second problem is that Glenn will
be 10 in April, making him about three weeks younger than Adam,
and how dare Adam become close friends with Kline's little
brother!
So yeah, to an adult it was really silly stuff, but you can
understand how it's taking the kids a while to work it out. If
they lived together, it wouldn't be a problem, but they'll work
things out for a while, then not see each other for a few days,
and it starts building up again.
Understanding the problem, the three of us (and their parents at
times) have worked out a few basic rules for - if you are going
to argue and fight, you can't do this or that. That includes
actual fist fighting, which is what I straight up caught them
doing last night. While it hasn't happened since Thanksgiving
week, as best I can remember, I decided it was time for a
slightly different approach.
We went to my office, with both boys already whining. I caught
them red-handed, so there wasn't much need for questioning. I
listened to their excuses, which pretty much boiled down to 'he
started it' and lectures, while I stripped them both. I put
them over the arm of the couch and used the large spoon to
paddle them until they were both bawling - which didn't take
long - fifteen smacks each, including a couple of the upper
legs. Then I let them stand up, and had them hug each other. I
did hug the two of them together, reminded them that I loved
both of them, but they at least had to learn to tolerate each
other, and them guided them over to the corner - and I left them
there for ten minutes, hugging each other, with both bare and
crying.
I did let them talk to each other quietly, and they ended up
rubbing each others rears, so maybe they're at least learning a
bit about cooperating.

Trying to establish the pecking order.
Forgive me if I smile. But the mental image of the two of them
naked and hugging, rubbing each others red bottom, is a visual
that makes me smile even though it is at their expense.
Spanking boys together is something I have never done, even when
they got into trouble together. It makes total sense though in
this situation. Being bared together. Spanked together.
Hugged together. Cornered together. Hugging each other. It
just makes sense that it could help them to get along better,
experiencing so much together.
Thanks for sharing. It brought a smile to my face, even if it
shouldn't. :)

If you think this was cute (and so did I and their parents,
though I was careful not to smile while it was going on), then
what do you think about two adolescent boys in the same
situation, because I did this same thing to Noah and Mickey
about ten years ago now. They didn't rub each other's rears,
but they were even more embarrassed, and it sure shut down a lot
of their more physical arguments.

Well the mutual baring, spanking and corner time, might be just
a little more embarrassing in adolescence. But the naked
hugging during corner time, would most assuredly be more
embarrassing. I can imagine both boys were thinking the entire
time they were entangled in a naked hug, to relax and think of
anything other than them touching each other, so nothing would
pop up and cause mortal embarrassment. ;)

We had a three way spanking last night to report. I'd hoped to
get several things done for the forum today, but the kids were
out of school, and there was a lot going on.
This was a pretty weird combination, but I dealt with it as it
happened.
The boys who have more trouble with bedtimes and schedules are
still required to go bed on nights like this, though they are
allowed a later bedtime. Last night, I found Zeke playing with
Connor and Curtis. I told them to pick up their toys, and for
Zeke to move on until his bedtime. I made sure they stopped
what they were doing and got started. A while later, I found
the three of them had decided to go right back to playing.
This is the kind of disobedience I'm not willing to tolerate,
but I also don't see it as a horrible thing - at least not for
C&C. I chewed all three boys out, then I sent Zeke to his room
to get showered and ready for bed. Then I gave Connor and
Curtis both a relatively mild hand spanking, before getting them
their baths and into bed. Both boys had a solid cry, but it was
just a stinger, not one to really leave them bawling.
When I got to Zeke's room, he was showered and waiting for me in
his pajamas (it was very cold last night, so he was wearing
lounge pants and a baggy tee). We talked about what he'd done
and why it was wrong, then I had him come over to me. He was
wearing boxer briefs below his pajama pants (which is does some
times, but not all the times). I took them both off, then had
him fetch the bath brush. I made sure he understood he was
being punished not just for disobeying me, but for being a bad
example with C&C.
With him, I did do a thorough job, and he was bawling before I
finished. As soon as the spanking ended, I let him get his
shorts on, and wash his face, then I put him to bed. I rubbed
his back for a bit, but he wasn't in a real accepting mood, and
I left him alone pretty quick.
In the morning, he was much more forgiving. He came to me for a
hug and apologized. After a talk, I went with him and he
apologized to Connor and Curtis as well.
We were fine the rest of the day.
