I have just submitted It Happened One Christmas to MMSA as a 10
part serial. While posting a brief comment about it on the MMSA
Forum, I was reading through some of the comments and discussion
here, and I found this:

Indeed!
I will have a thought in the middle of the night and get up long
enough to put the thought in type and save it. Otherwise, it
will slip away and be gone forever. I so hate that feeling of
knowing I had an interesting idea but didn't save it and now
can't recall how it went for anything in the world.

Jack,
I just read the first part of "It Happened One Christmas." at
MMSA.
Is this the same story you originally posted as a Christmas
Advent story or is this a new one for MMSA? I ask because it
seems really familiar.

This is the Advent Calendar story, just edited slightly, and
broken up for the different format.
