       A Family Saga

/>has a series-in-progress that I think is really terrific. In
the last couple of chapters he has taken on a heavy topic: What
happens when one of two very close friends slips up and
impulsively reveals his affection for the other? Now their
relationship feels weird and they would both like to fix that,
but they don't know how. Danny has done a great job of leading
up to this point and making it all seem natural and believable.
It has been a real page-turner for me. Highly recommended
       series and latest stories.

I have loved this series from its inception over a year ago. I
log onto MMSA hoping for a new chapter--and usually, none is
forthcoming. When they appear, they have always been worth the
wait. These, and Jack's current series (Dad and Me) are what
gets me to continue to log in to MMSA. I'll echo Adric's very
high recommendation. Anxious to see how this dilemma between
best friends as well as impending step-brothers will be
       resolved.

I just recently stumbled onto this series. Actually, I didn't
even know it was a series until I got to the end of the chapter
I was reading. The chapter mentioned in this thread, by the
way. It also had a stranger conversation about getting a D on a
science paper and what should be done as a consequence. Poor
Uncle Ed. He was lost all through the conversation. Basically,
it was a teenager trying to figure things out in his own head by
talking aloud to a trusted adult who had the sense to just let
the boy talk without adding to much "advice" to what the boy was
saying. I did like the offer at the end of the chapter, which
the boy turned down, yet did he really want to accept?
I am now going to have to go back and read this from the
beginning. I have to find out how we got to this point so I
will understand the dynamics of everyone in the story and there
are a lot of characters to get to know and then keep straight.
It has to be a nightmare writing this soap opera saga.
