Matilda the Musical

Now streaming on Netflix, this is the very rare stage to screen
adaptation that is actually superior to its source material.
FAR superior in this case.
Magically shot, using the power of film to its best advantage,
and with very strong performances, it is the finest movie
musical in at least the last 20 years. It began streaming on
Netflix today, Christmas Day, and is a perfect present to anyone
who likes kids and/or musicals even a little bit. I've seen the
stage musical on two continents, with friends in the cast on
this one. This film is magical.
