Hello all! Another earthquake in Mexico, it was strong but there
seem to be no damages.
All my family and me are all right.

You said it was small last night in chat - were you just on the
outskirts of it, or was there another one?
Thanks for letting us know - glad you're okay.

:-[ It was the same Jack, where I live the ground is solid so
we feel the earthquakes, but not as strongly as down town Mexico
City.
When I told, you it was over and had lasted around 40 seconds,
later I turned on the news and learned that it had been a 7.1
earthquake.
There seems to be not a lot of damage, though people is still
scared after the couple of earthquakes that happened last
September :(
Thanks
Hugs
Leti

I had something like that happen once.
I had been spending a week in Los Angeles visiting comic friends
and spanko-friends, after a comic convention. One night, I'd
been out late, and my grandma called my hotel about 6am asking
how I was. How I was was not happy at being woken.
It turns out there was stuff on the news about a huge earthquake
in the LA area, except it had been about 200 miles from me, and
I had just barely felt anything the evening before, like being
on a raft when a small wave went by.

One of my Grandmothers lived in L.A. for a long time. I lived
with her when I went to Junior High School.
She always said she preferred living with Earthquakes rather
than Tornados.
Then there was a big earthquake that pinned her in her bedroom
for 6 hours, until her daughter was able to get to her and get
her out of the room.
Shortly after that, she sold everything in California and moved
back to Indiana.
Happy to hear you are safe Leti. It is also good to hear that
there wasn't as much damage with this earthquake. 7.1 is still
a big earthquake.
