As some of you know, I train and compete with dogs. In the
"good old days", it wasn't uncommon to see little kids in crates
as playpens while their moms or dads were in the ring. That is
now a thing of the past--the do-gooders immediately call CPS no
matter how happy the kid is, or how brief a period he/she is
left there.
