"The Brothers' Vow" - MMSA Story by HumbledBareBoy

"Chapter 1: The First-born of Perdition, Baneful Prince"
HTML https://malespank.net/viewStory.php?id=51114
(NOTE: The content and themes are not my usual fare...)
Rough Synopsis:
Set in dystopian future where much of humanity is
technologically-regressed -- to the point that the setting could
be mistaken for "medieval" -- so I suggested the "alternate
history" tag, within MMSA -- and there is a good bit of magic
and other supernatural elements. The protagonist is 20-year-old
Brytax, who is currently on a "rescue mission" to retrieve his
13yo younger brother, Connor, who has been abducted by a gang of
roving marauders. He is accompanied on this mission by his
fiancee, Sariel; his brother's 14yo boyfriend, Kormac; and last
but not least, Gerald, Connor's "mentor" in all things
agricultural. The captors are terrible people, to put it mildly,
but this quartet of would-be rescuers are determined and won't
be backing down anytime soon...

[li]Not my usual "stroker" type of story, designed to get the
reader off! Instead, I am taking aim primarily at emotional
buttons... Although I've touched on darker and more serious
themes before, here I am ratcheting those elements up to
eleven... :o [/li]
[li]My first ever foray into "fantasy" within MMSA, in the
process revealing a bit of my non-spanko aspects, too... ???
Traditional dichotomies such as "good vs. evil," "holy vs.
unholy," and "life vs. death" do not neatly line up or directly
correlate in the familiar and assumed ways...[/li]
[li]Moreover, it was also an excuse to get a little..."creative"
-- notably, with my application of HTML and other technical
aspects, for various aesthetic and stylistic purposes! ;D Also
some gratuitous use of ungrammatical Latin, for dramatic
effect...hopefully those actually versed in the language will
forgive me... :o ??? :-\ [/li]

Fantasy isn't my favorite genre, but I do admire the excellent
craftsmanship of the story. I also appreciate the formatting
flourishes, which are a visual treat.
I know several readers here are big fans of fantasy. This story
should be right in their wheelhouse.
