Another superb installment from the author, with a well-deserved
shield upon it, too! :) And has already earned its official gold
star for "reader recommended," to boot, but that is a rather
predictable outcome, to be fair! The "spanking" part of the
story actually turned out to be different from anything I could
have anticipated, and relatively "off the beaten path" for this
particular series -- but in a way that works, while also giving
us another reason to adore Micah himself. Check it out... ;)

New Micah Chapter - "Miracle on 12th Street"

The newest Micah chapter is up. This one is intense.

Things we already know will be reinforced:
1. Daniel is more of a father for Micah than his bio-dad.
2. Micah needs to learn coping mechanisms for stress.
3. Micah makes really silly decisons but is basically a good
kid.
4. Michelle is a bitch.
The family has gathered for the Holidays and a lot of drama
comes to play.
This chapter, like them all, is a must read.
There are a couple of points of happy news in this chapter.

Latest "Micah" installment: "Do You Know Your Enemy?"

During the previous installment -- the one directly preceding
this one, in fact! -- we were treated to a very wonderful,
welcome piece of news, where we found out that...
[spoiler]Ahmed has finally seen reason and chosen to "take the
higher road" by setting Micah free, so our protagonist is
finally coming home, where he belongs. Even better still, he
will actually be living with his Uncle Daniel, specifically, in
a new place with two bedrooms! :D[/spoiler]
Fast-forward to the present, where the current installment opens
with...
[spoiler]Micah now having finished moving from Michigan and
returning home to more familiar surroundings, and the story
begins with him getting ready to start his first day back at his
original school![/spoiler]
As expected, things happen and boy bottoms get spanked, but
that's not the most exciting or significant thing. I shall not
spoil for you, but suffice to say, the story concludes with a
very exciting development, one that is a long time coming and
that I imagine most readers have been eagerly anticipating for
months, by now!

Ok, the latest installment a shorter read at 19K, but damn it,
the emotional weight of this one is real! :o :frown: And
really, isn't emotional investment one of the primary and
foremost motivations behind so many of us continuing to read
this series, chapter by chapter, just eager to see what develops
in Micah's life next? Within MMSA, it's said that there's a
diminishing return for series, as they get longer and longer,
but here at now 23 chapters...still pulling those shields and
stars, like no tomorrow! :D Needless to say, there are very,
very good reasons for it...
For those so mentally and emotionally invested in Micah's saga,
this one's a must read, sooner rather than later! Though I must
offer a prior warning: You might want to sit down first,
possibly with a cup hot tea or a glass of wine...trust me!

Although this submission is on the shorter side, with just the
lone "t" icon to indicate character age, we can only guess at
the interesting developments to come! :D Especially considering
it's already earned both red + gold stars, but that's just to be
expected....
Story opens with Daniel's younger brother, Gabriel Page,
preparing an oak plank for his upcoming woodworking endeavor, to
be his official "final project" for shop class! What, oh what,
could the boy be getting ready to create...? ???

to complete some errands, in preparation of the upcoming party
later that day. For a variety of reasons -- not the least of
which being sweltering temperatures that "flirted with triple
digits" -- the pair of best friends are disagreeing and butting
heads, with frustration and other difficult emotions escalating.
Soon leading to hasty, ill-chosen words and hurt feelings and
bad attitudes -- not to mention all that is to
