Nashville Explosion

A couple of you have reached out privately. Many likely know
that Nashville was struck by a deliberate explosion this
Christmas AM.
My family and I are fine. I live roughly 18 miles from the
stricken area. Some of my neighbors heard the blast but we were
oblivious until news reports came in.
All safe here.

Very Happy That You and Yours are Safe.
It's odd that there was an evacuation broadcast before the
explosion. A suicide by bomb? Very odd.

It could have been. The RV spent some time before the
detonation announcing on speakers that there was a bomb that
would explode, and giving fifteen minutes for people to evacuate
while counting down to the end. They are evaluating the
possibility of a suicide.

It is widely believed that the authorities aren't telling us all
they know (very likely) but the bombing was carried out by a 63
year-old local suicide bomber. No motive has been given. Very
early speculation was that it was a plot against the Christmas
parade but that had been called off due to COVID and the RV was
parked in a weird location. It is now simply being called a
suicide. Most of us in Mid TN feel it is deeper and that it is
likely related to some grievance against ATT or an attack
against local 911 systems. ATT's central hub (where all of
their gadgets live) was located in a building next to the bomb
and the building also house the gadgets and computers that
handled the 911 systems for four middle TN counties. The
explosion took out 911 communications for days and there are
still some ATT customers who still do not have TV, phone, or
internet. Most ATT customers were down for 3 to 4 days. **The
story that the Dominion voting machines were in the building
being held for audit is UNTRUE and is a CONSPIRACY THEORY and is
UNFOUNDED.** So, yeah, it is a suicide but, it was also likely
an attack on either ATT, 911, or both. However, Metro Police,
TBI, ATF, nor FBI are talking.
The damage is horrific but localized to one area - historic 2nd
Avenue. Only the bomber was killed, 3 others were injured.
However, 22 businesses were destroyed. Here is the area in
question. (These are not my pictures but were taken by a friend
at various times.)

Amazing with that amount of damage there were so few
casualties.The lack of them would appear to indicate that was
intentional.

I don't know how much coverage the story has received in UK
Ivor.
The bomber broadcast warnings from the van for about 20 minutes
prior to the explosion, as well as Petula Clark's hit song
"Downtown". It appears the only casualty was the bomber
himself, which is miraculous given the destruction. He appears
to have been recently diagnosed with cancer, to have been a
QAnon "5G technology is evil" disciple having chosen the site
due to its proximity to an AT&T store, and a total whack job.
He should have been on the radar of local police, having been
reported over a year ago by his former girlfriend.
