Shoes

Many spanking drawings and cartoons show boys being whacked bare
bottom having lost their trousers and pants but wearing shoes.
It is not impossible for a boy to get his trousers and pants off
when he has his shoes on, but difficult and time-consuming,
especially if the shoes are leather school shoes or otherwise
bulky and/or the trousers are long. You surely wouldn’t get a
boy to take his shoes off and then put them on again.
How can we account for this frequent representation of something
unlikely to have happened in practice?

I myself am a big fan of suspension of disbelief.

I'm inclined to imagine that he was told to put his shoes back
on after removing his trousers and undies, because after his
licking he would be required to spend the rest of the day in
that state of undress and he needed the shoes. [emoji48]

You have a valid point. I haven't noticed that in stories or
images, but then I wouldn't be looking to see if the boy was
wearing shoes or not. As you probably know, I am for the boy to
be totally naked for punishment, whether it be spanking, corner
time or just time out. Thus shoes wouldn't be a concern.
I Have known boys who only had to pull their trousers/shorts and
underpants down for an over the lap spanking, end up kicking
their shoes trousers and underpants off by the time the spanking
is finished. Some boys really squirm and kick their little legs
when being spanked.
But like you said. It is difficult to pull your trousers/jeans
off over your shoes, so in images of such, the boy probably had
to put them back on for some reason. More than likely though.
The artist that made the image, didn't think of it.

It's interesting that you post this today. I have been watching
a youtube channel recently called GoodBadFlicks, and the
reviewer has pointed out a number of times when someone was
running around in limited or no clothing but shoes. While it's
certainly possible since maybe the mid to late 80s, I tend to
put it down as a bit of artistic license - just a hint of
clothing to accentuate the nudity.

Anyone who has read more than one or two of my stories will know
I go along with that as some of them are barely plausible.
However, unless I am writing fantasy, I avoid the impossible.
The ease with which in any given case a boy can take his
trousers and pants off without removing his footwear has to
depend on the clothing and the footwear. I suggest though that
in many cases the task will prove beyond the boy and in mosts
cases a tricky manoeuvre. If I write a story where at least the
trousers are to come off I always have any potentially
encumbering footwear removed first. [Aside: On the whole I try
not to include too much unncessary information in a story. One
author commented that if a character comes into a room it is not
usually necessary to mention that he closed the door. I do
though feel I need to indicate that shoes have come off if
trousers are coming off.]
A drawing made by a spanko and offered for other spankos to
enjoy is not of course a story, but such drawings (unless
fantasy) are intended to represent real life situations. My
point is that few, if any, real life situations will involve a
boy getting a trouserless/pantless whacking having his shoes on.
I take the point that clothing at both ends of a body can
enhance its nudity*, but if you choose to do it in a spanking
drawing I cannot help thinking that crumpled trousers or socks
look better than shoes and are certainly more realistic.

It can I think be done if a boy is in shortpants but difficult
in longs. Interesting point
