       "No, Curtis."
       "Just one?"
       "What's the rule, Curtis?"
       "Daddy!"
       "What's. the. rule?"
"No Christmas videos until after Thanksgiving."
"Okay, then. That's just three days now, so i think you can

I saw A Christmas Story, the musical last Friday night. It was
       delightful.

Oh, the cruelty! Dad hasn't taken into account that three days,
       in subjective child-time, is ages!
       ;)

But Dad HAS taken into account that we already have 32 days
between Thanksgiving and Christmas, and we definitely don't want
the boys to peak too early.

Just wanted to mention that Curtis is now 8, and he's very
       excited.
We did have his birthday dinner last night, with grilled polish
sausage, fried potatoes, slow cooked green beans, grilled
vegetable medley, and biscuits, then a chocolate/chocolate fudge
cake (and he had chocolate ice cream with it). Liam got to give
       his birthday spanks.
We're saving the actual party for this weekend. Colt's birthday
is next week, and we're going to Grapevine Mills for double
parties, with everyone eating at the Rainforest Cafe. We're all
going to see The Kid Who Would be King, then Curtis wants to
Build-A-Bear and do the Lego Discovery Zone. He's taking the
grands and a few of his best friends with us (David Franklin, Bo
and Royce Tidwell, Kieth and Cody King, Ed Rawlings, and Sean
and Colin McCleod), so it won't be a huge crowd (compared to
some I have), but it will still keep us chaperones busy.

then a chocolate/chocolate fudge cake (and he had chocolate ice

Triple Chocolate. A boy after my own heart. I'll sit here and
drool. I can't eat chocolate anymore. Caffeine. They haven't
       made caffeine free chocolate yet.
My sister is taking her grandson to see "The Kid Who Would Be
King" this weekend. I'll see it when it comes to DVD.
I saw previews for a new one coming out this summer. "Artemis
Fowl." Looks like something I would be interested in.
