PJ and Bridget Wells and sons

---------------------------------------------------------
I have some updating to do with these folk, and I thought it
would be best to try to gather all the information into one
thread, rather than continuing to have several different places
and trying to decide what should go where.
PJ of course is one of my oldest sons. While the old forum is
gone, some of the information has been saved, and you can find a
lot of that about PJ here:
HTML https://www.bransomtx.com/bios/index.php?title=PJ_Wells
Jake and Ryan Tucker are PJ's biological half-brothers, whom I
ended up adopting, but they still live with PJ. It's kind of
confusing, but a lot can be found about them in that same
thread, starting here:

Unfortunately, there is a bit of a gap between the information
we were able to recover after the old forum closed down (most of
what we do have is thanks to Leti) and when the new forum
started. The gap is about eight months, between March and
October of 2017, but I don' t think we're missing anything too
major in this case. I think it was mostly about the boys (and
PJ) getting moved to Bransom and starting to settle down here.
What I'm going to link next is the thread I started for PJ and
the boys after the new forum started. There is a lot of overlap
between the bio page and this thread.

About the time I started that thread, I also started one for
Bridget and her family - Kelly, Dylan, and Brennan.

I knew PJ and Bridget had been friends with benefits for a
while, and her kids were spending a fair amount of time over
here, but things started becoming official when:

And the two of them were married on 24 August 2019.
Finally, the birth of my newest grandson:

I'm going to bring this to a close for now for two reasons:
first, because it took longer than I expected, and I'm getting
hungry. Second, because I accidentally closed this and had to
start over, so I want to save it before that happens again.

The first thing I want to talk about is that we did get the
family moved into another home.
The thing about getting them a home - beyond the fact that PJ
needs work space around the house, both since he's working on
his masters, and is a graphic designer and has art projects he
works on at home - and beyond the basic fact that they have six
kids (more Yours, Mine, and Ours, now, than the Brady Bunch, I
guess) - is that two of the boys are freshmen in high school.
In four years, they'll be at college, and in 8 years, the
youngest (except the baby) will be at college, and the oldest
two might have graduated or will be close.
PJ and Bridgette both make decent money, but they also have
expenses. I sat down and talked with them, and we ended up
coming to an arrangement. The house that was nearly perfect for
them was WAY outside their budget, so we came to a deal. I
bought the house, making a huge downpayment. They're making the
house payments and doing all the care and any needed repairs.
With the size of the down payment I made, their house payments
are actually lower than what they were paying (combined) in rent
before they moved in together. In 8 to 10 years, once the boys
start finishing school and moving out (and they've had plenty of
time to save), they'll move out and turn the home over to me.
At that point, I'll have the option of selling or moving in (so
I won't need this place by then, since only Connor and Curtis
would even still be in college by that point).
The house is far enough away from here that it's a bit of a pain
on school days, but we can usually work it out with any major
inconvenience (it's a bit harder now that Kaden has basketball
practice after school, but we rotate, so it's only once or twice
a week that anyone has to make a special trip).
The reason I started this is that PJ and I had a long talk the
other night. Jay isn't a month old yet, and Bridget is just
worn out. She doesn't have to go back to work until after the
start of the year (and she has insurance that covers most of
that), but PJ didn't have that much time off. While they boys
are helping out, they're still teenage boys (well, except
Brennan, but 12 is getting there). Bridget and PJ have asked me
to handle the boys during most of the upcoming week. To that
end, they spent last night at home, so the 8 of them could spend
some family time, and they'll be coming over this afternoon.
We're going into Dallas Monday through Wednesday to sneak some
Christmas activities in before a very busy December, and they'll
be going home again Thursday evening, after Thanksgiving
celebrations.
There are still some questions of how Jake and Ryan Tucker fit
into the family - since they're technically Uncles to the
Henderson boys. None of my grandsons will be here Friday for
tree decorating, which left us with an interesting question in
terms of Jake and RT. Bridget and PJ decided to decorate their
own tree the same day, since PJ will be off, and offered Jake
and RT their choice of where to be - they're staying with PJ and
Bridget that day.

A separate entry for PJ and Bridget makes sense. Thanks for the
info.
