       Greenville Shooting

       This is just an FYI post.
       I just heard about a shooting, after a homecoming dance, that
       took place in Greenville, TX, which is, more or less, in the
       Dallas area.  For reference, this is about 40 miles from where
       we live, as the crow flies, but more like 55 miles if we had to
       drive there.  None of my family is near that area, and all of
       mine are okay.
       This shooting was at a satellite location of Texas A&M
       University, but once again, not a school where we know anyone -
       at least not directly, and not that I've heard.

       Of course, our thoughts and prayers go to those injured and the
       families of those injured and deceased.  I just hate that so few
       weeks go past without us having to hear more about something
       like this.
