       24 Sept 2019 - Tuesday Mornings

Tuesday mornings are nice. It's nearly 9am as I write this. I
was hoping to have a bit more time, but I stayed with the BOTDs
       a bit too long.
Monday mornings, I have paperwork, so I try to go in early. I
used to start the week with racquetball with friends who were
also my managers and assistant managers. The problem is that I
was teaching for a year and a half, and Josh (who no longer
works for me) was really the prime organizer behind those Monday
morning games. Maybe I should look at all my longer term
employees and see about getting them organized again.
Wednesday mornings are new comic days. That means I need to be
at the warehouse as close to 8am as I can be. There are plenty
of people who can get things set up, but the comics have been
known to get there as early as about 8:15, depending on our UPS
driver and his load. I try to be out of the house by 7:45 (all
the school boys should be leaving by then as well), so I can
stop and get donuts for my workers.
Thursday mornings I'm off. Now that I'm doing reading groups
with the homeschool kids, I try to get out of the house around
8am so I can do my shopping first and clear the rest of the day,
       but that doesn't always happen.
Friday mornings aren't as tight, but I like to run by all the
stores on Friday to make sure everything's in shape for the
weekends. Most of the time, that means picking up the cargo
van, loading it at the warehouse, then heading around.
Especially at this time of year, since - yesterday being the
start of autumn, we had a high of 97F/36C, so I prefer to finish
before the heat of the day.
While I do other things as needed/in emergencies, those are
pretty strict on happening every week. I also do different
things in the afternoons, but those tend to be more flexible.
Of course, I do my reading groups on Tuesday as well, and
sometimes I check my office before going to them, but it's not
required. I'm showered, dressed, and ready to go now. I have
notes for what I want to do today already done. Unless it's the
first of the month, I don't have paperwork to do, so today's my
day that I can look around and see where I feel needs attention
and do that. Honestly, Tuesday's the day I'm most likely just
to get to work in one of the stores, deal with customers, and
       enjoy myself.

Your schedule does look manageable now. That's good. You seem
to have worked in time to be flexible with some things.
I haven't heard anything about the bunce house project lately.
       How's it coming along.
As far as Camp. Is it going to be closed now that school has
started or do they have things planned for the autumn and
       winter?
