PJ and Bridgette Sitting in a Tree...

The wedding was today. It went well.
I'd hoped to have it earlier in the morning, but things worked
out so it was at 1pm. It was pretty hot, but not as bad as it
could be at this time of year. Some of the college kids were
upset they couldn't be here, but things were kind of rushed, and
we fit them in where we could.
The actual ceremony was in my grandmother's gazebo, and it was
really nice. Van handled the music with his keyboard.
We had a short reception afterward - partly in the house, so
people could avoid overheating. It didn't even last a couple of
hours - at least not with the newlyweds. They took off to enjoy
their honeymoon. The good news is that they were both able to
get Tuesday off as well, so they can enjoy about three days
together, alone, before they have to get back in the grind.
The boys will be staying with me for now. Kelly is in high
school now, and Jake and Dylan attend the same school as Craig.
I'll have to make a special trip for Brennan, who's still in
elementary and attends a different school from Connor and
Curtis.
Going back to my original announcement on this matter, they have
found a really nice house that they like. We're waiting to hear
back on the offer, so we can schedule a home inspection.
The boys are pretty excited, and PJ and Bridgette both seem
really happy, so let's all cross our fingers and think good
thoughts.
