Father's Day 2019

Thought I'd mention that I had a great day today - mostly thanks
to this morning.
It was great, in the first place, because my oldest boys were
all around, as I've mentioned in the Weekend Party thread;
Mikell and JD were both able to be in town for a while, and they
both joined us this morning. Along with them, all the local
boys made it, including Tommy. The only ones of my kids who
weren't able to be here today were Charlie (military) and Tracy,
who just couldn't get off work. However, I also had my 'proxy
boys' (Mike Guice, Billy, Chandler, Bruce, and Emmet) plus all
my grand kids, so it was a really great day.
I was chased into my office this morning. I went to get
breakfast, and was only allowed two pieces of toast, a hard
boiled egg, some oatmeal, and some juice. At least that did
give me time to watch a bit of TV and read a bit. I was pretty
hungry by the time they finally let me out, but we had a HUGE
brunch, with a lot of guests, and they do say hunger is the best
sauce.
I've often had complaints on how hard I am to shop for, but this
time, they made a good choice. Having heard I'm planning to
upgrade and reorganize my library and book shelves, they bought
me several book ends of various types - Sherlock Holmes, Thor's
Hammer, Dragons, and ravens, and skulls. They all look great,
and I have a good idea where most of them are going to be
displayed.

Nice bookends. I have dragon and gargoyle bookends on my
bookshelves. Your new reorganized library, is going to look
awesome.
