Re: Summer Movie Series 2019

My favorite Disney boy actor would probably be Kevin "Moochie"
Corcoran. I always thought he was a real life Dennis the Menace
because no matter what he did, it always seem to misfire on him.
He also had a voice that excited me.
"Toby Tyler," "Johnny Shiloh," "Old Yeller," "The Shaggy
D.A.," "Pollyanna," "Swiss Family Robinson," "Daniel Boone,"
"Babes in Toyland,"
There were a lot more. He even acted into adulthood in some
well known movies.

Minor correction: Kevin was in the Shaggy Dog, not the Shaggy
D.A.
Kevin was never my favorite actor, but I was always jealous of
him, since his major movie roll always seemed to be 'little
brother of (character Tommy Kirk is playing)'.
I don't think Kevin acted into adulthood - well, barely. As far
as I can tell, he didn't really have any roles past his teen,
though he was active as a director for most of his life.

Yep. My bad. Wrong Shaggy movie. :)
Yep. He directed into the 2000's on TV series. I think his
last one was 2005.
Co Produced as late as 2009.
Probably the one of his that I like the most is, Swiss Family
Robinson.

Yeah, that's probably the one I liked best. Arguably his best
movie, however, was probably Ol' Yeller.

Just thought I'd mention I have the grands tonight, and most of
the older kids are at the football game or elsewhere.
After having this conversation today, and considering the
weather is supposed to get cool next week (high was 95F today,
supposed to be 67F next Friday), the Grands and C&C, along with
a few of their very close friends, are out back skinny dipping
again tonight. We have pizza on the way, and in about 30
minutes (just after sundown), we're going to start watching The
Hardy Boys: The Mystery of the Applegate Treasure, show a couple
of cartoons, then watch Swiss Family Robinson. If we pace
things correctly, we should be able to use these as treats the
rest of the year - even if we have to start wearing warm pajamas
and watching them inside soon.

It's a shame when skinny dipping weather goes away. I used to
be able to do winter indoor nude swims, but that isn't possible
now, unless we find a new venue. The weather just cooled off
today, here. It was at 90 degrees yesterday and today its 20
degrees cooler.

We might be facing the same system that's already hit you,
Zyngaru. We're supposed to have thunderstorms and a rapid
temperature drop scheduled to come in Sunday evening.

It was 41 when we left NYC last night. Fall is definitely here.

Yep. The weatherman said it would come on Monday, but he was
wrong as usual. It hit yesterday. We are now having normal
autumn temperatures. It will probably mean my hummingbirds will
leave. They have already been here two weeks longer than last
year. I mowed yesterday, hoping that will be the last mowing of
the season.
