Consider it a very simple logic problem. If Logan is first,
Aidan is second, and Leif is last, who is third?
I actually did wonder if I should have gone back and listed him,
but I was past ready for breakfast, so I skipped a step.
Yes, for the record, Kaden got the same five stripes as the
other boys. Also for the record, I just happened to hold them
so they were more or less facing the mirror over the dresser, so
their friends/brothers had a good view of their rear, while I
was able to get a decent view of their face and of them flopping
around as they danced.

Many spankings today.
First of all, on my way home, I caught the youngest boys outside
their bounds. I was in the Jaguar, so I couldn't give them a
ride. Instead, I escorted them safely back inside their bounds,
then told them to get straight home.
The reason this is a problem is that there is a dangerous
intersection not too far from our house, and those streets
designate their boundaries in that direction.
They were just getting home when I got there, so I escorted them
into my bedroom. I'd given some thought about where to handle
matters on my way in, and I felt that was best.
Oh, when I say 'youngest' that's Curtis, Paden, Ryder, and Ollie
(all 8 ).
The boys explained they were just trying to find a friend's
house. I might have been okay with that, if we'd talked about
it ahead of time, and I'd been able to review the crossing rules
for that intersection (at 8, probably not though). As it was,
without permission, they were in trouble.
I have a small sauna in my bathroom. It's big enough that 3
little boys can sit and wait without being crowded. They were
all bare, though. They'd also been hot and sweaty, so they'd
already stripped off and taken a quick, cool shower before going
in there.
I spanked in the dressing area. Because this was a safety
violation, each of them got a double pattern with the
Tailblazer, which is a pretty serious session for them. Each of
them was bawling before I finished.
Ryder's the youngest, so he went first. Ollie's only about a
week older, so he was next. Paden is oldest, but I consider a
boy who lives here full-time should know the rules better, so
Paden was next, and Curtis went last.
By the time I finished Curtis and lined him up facing the wall,
there were four miserable, sorry little boys. I left them there
a minute, while I went and got swim trunks. After a round of
hugs, I reminded them why we had the boundaries, and why they
got spanked for violating them. Then they dressed, washed up,
and went out back to play.

Kaden and Leif got the paddle today. As a reminder, they're
both 16. Kaden since April, and Leif since last month.
While the two of them are friends and usually get along, they've
been butting heads over some chores. I have tried to give them
room to straighten it out on their own, but chores haven't been
getting done, so last night I gave an ultimatum. When I got
home today, they still weren't done, so I called the boys up to
their room.
As soon as they got there and saw me standing there, holding the
medium Lexan, they knew they'd screwed the pooch.
I reminded them what I'd said, and what we'd talked about
before. I gave them a couple of suggestions on how to solve
their problem (this was a chore trade, which is supposed to only
be allowed when done by me, but it shouldn't be such a big deal
with older boys). Finally, I told them that they'd had their
last chance, and told them that, if the chores didn't get done,
they were both losing their car keys, and they were going to
lose them right then for a few days, unless they wanted swats.
They both removed their swim trunks, bent over against Kaden's
desk, and took three pretty firm swats - enough to get some loud
yelping from them both. I gave them one hour before I came back
for their keys. When I did get back, they'd apologized to each
other, each done their own chores, and promised to okay anything
in the future through me, so I think we're straight now.

This took a careful read but I think I have it now. The boys
got to keep their keys. Here's what I think.
1. Since they hadn't been doing the chores they were given the
choice of losing their keys immediately or taking swats. They
chose swats. Then,
2. Since the chores are still not done, they have the choice of
getting them done asap or losing their keys. They get them done
asap.
Therefore, they still have their keys.

Unless I'm mistaken, when Jack wrote "I gave them one hour
before I came back for their keys", he meant that he gave them
an hour before he came back, ready to take away their keys if
they hadn't done their chores. Since they had, he did not take
their keys.

Why did the younger boys wait for their spankings inside the
sauna? Was the sauna on? I mean, I wouldn't have been in the
mood for a sauna session under the circumstances.

Nope, Adric was correct. I gave them the swats for not getting
things done when they had been told to get them done, then I
gave them one hour to correct the problem or they'd loose the
keys anyway. I guess I should have said 'I gave them one hour
to correct the problem before I came back for their keys'.
That's why I have an editor on stories - to tell me when
something is too vague to be easily understood.

In my bathroom, there aren't a lot of places to sit - the edge
of the tub, the toilet (which only has room for one anyway) or
the sauna. The tub is cold porcelain, while the sauna is a
comfortable cedar. I put them in there so I could give each boy
a bit of privacy for spanking, then give the first boy a place
to recover, while the next was spanked, without putting him in
with the unspanked boys. In other words - it was just because I
need a place to start the assembly line.
No, it wasn't on, but maybe I could do that some time, with a
bit of steam, to pre-heat a boy before a spanking. I'll have to
suggest to Troy that we try that some time once the weather
cools off again.
